Terrible narrator and subpar story.

Narrator was terrible making many characters sound like disobient teenage girls. Few voice variants for every character. Didnt understand how to say basic words/titles. Story was subpar. The Veda* character is the worst in any Halo book. hard to follow the actualy story but horrible narration mightve played more of a roll. With the storyline available it shouldve been easy to write a great book.

Good true military book

I heard the author on the Jocko Podcast and picked up the book. There is a lot more to the book and enjoyed it throughout. The FFL is an interesting organization and this book gives a great modern description of the Legion. For what its worth, I am a military veteran and recommend it.

Not a fan of the story or the narrator. Half the characters and their stories are insignificant and easily forgetable. Only listened to the book for the Halo lore/background story that will play into the larger Halo story arch. That part was interesting enough.

Love the series but virtually nothing significant happens in this book. The author is just throwing out the last few books short on time with less relevant storyline. Still a great series but feels like we are being nickel and dimmed for actual storyline lately.
