Historia
I just traveled halfway across the galaxy to meet my new husband. With no women left on Auxem, he should know how to appreciate a lady. Especially me, a lady from Earth! He knows how lucky he has to have me. He knows how far I've come. So why is he acting like such a complete jerk? I know he's used to getting what he wants, but underneath his confident, chiseled exterior, he's hiding a big secret. He barely speaks to me. Now we're stranded together on a remote planet. He's got a perfect body. I hope he knows how to use it.

Could not finish it
Revisado: 10-01-17
Female narrator was so bad! Each sentence was its own separate line to be punched out. No flow at all.

Historia
Lone wolf and Special Investigator for the ubiquitous Eugene Begley, Challenger McCall is sent to the town of Gold Gulch to take care of a problem that might involve the exposure of the wolver community. For McCall, it's like stepping back in time - 150 years back in time. Gold Gulch is a tourist attraction where the wolvers take their work so seriously, they continue their Victorian lives long after the tourists have gone home.

Leah Fredrick needs to learn how to say "WOLF"
Revisado: 01-14-16
You would think after the bad reviews in the earlier books about her mispronunciation of the word WOLF, which is such a prominent word in the book, Leah Frederick would try better in consecutive books. NOPE. She still says "WOOF" and "WOOFERS" in place of "WOLF" and "WOLVERS" I ended up yelling at the book several times, and tried really hard to not hate the book because of the narrator. I would suggest reading the book instead of listening to her narrate.

Historia
Welcome to Rabbit Creek.... City girl Elizabeth Reynolds hopes to find peace and contentment in the small Appalachian town of Rabbit Creek. Okay, so the bucolic cottage she's rented turns out to be a dilapidated cabin without phone service, but the people she meets are wonderful. Friendly and down to earth, they welcome her with open arms. It's just like moving to Mayberry...if Andy and Aunt Bea were wolves. Only an outsider would call them werewolves.

Reader can't say wolf

frustrating - eternally frustrating. listening to a story where "the woof had sharp teeth" all. the.way.thru. Story is excellent. humor, anguish, affection, and fear were all portrayed well by the author.

Unusual twists kept my attention. Awaiting #2.
Revisado: 03-20-13
Not your typical twists. Not your typical book. This author has penned this book well. The characters have self esteem issues, and are not over the top on self pity either. I look forward to getting the rest of the Redbourne Series.
