I wonder what's going through Mike Charzick's brain when he thinks about people who are going to narrate these books. This book contains all of the major characters from the series, and thus should have been narrated by James Patrick Cronin. The book itself was decent. I'm getting a little fed up with these flashback books and the little bit of nuggets that they're giving us for the current story. But I'm assuming the next major book is the last book. So I understand. If you love the series, you're going to love this book. I'm just hacked off that they didn't get the narrator I like.

I can not believe that they tried a new narrator. whom did a decent job but this series is narrated by James Patrick Cronan. probably trying to save a couple of bucks. I would have rather waited than have a new narrator.

starts so strong then ends in mediocrity

I love the premise. it's rare where they take an older person and give a strong meaning to a rebirth. this book does that in spades. the overall story being a hero is ark was well placed with an older personality

great series, the commercial was frickin hilarious. looking forward to the next book. I hope the author keeps this rolling.

just a setup book. it's time the character s grew. it is now getting derivative and predictable.

utterly disgusting

the torture of the main character to try and create a sense of support for the character was completely overshadowed by the viciousness of the author's descriptions. I have never read a book that has so disgusted me. even if the character ends up winning in the end it will never recover the contempt I feel for the author. I understand authors want to create controversy but this is too much. I will never read another book from this author

this is probably the first urban fantasy book I actually read. I had read the Valdamor series from Mercedes Lackey and enjoyed it. I picked this up on a lark originally and enjoyed it.

unfortunately the narrator destroyed this for me. with a book that is so tied to music having a narrator who has a wispy voice made it very difficult for me to buy into the book. it really needed somebody who had a strong resonance and able to sing

I truly enjoyed this book

what interests me about the demon accord series is the personal interactions in the characters placed in these fantastic situations. This book brought a couple of new characters in that have rounded out some of the teams. I only wonder now where ciaco will fit into the upcoming war?

fun Urban fantasies with Heroes you sometimes hate

when I say hey. I mean in a good way :-) the characters are well-rounded the story is solid and the world is interesting and varied. I'm looking forward to reading the next book
