This was a great deal considering I was looking for a new PNR series to read. I was pleasantly surprised by the strong female Heroins and the alpha males that they fall for. after reading books 1-4 I opted to purchase book #5. Soooo good. The series started in Philly but, it seems that they all originated from New Orleans. Book one starts us off with Sexy Kade the Vamp and Detective Sydney Willows. Kade is part of Pcap picture a paranormal investigation company. The human world lives side by side with the vampires, wolf shifters, and witches. except there is some sort of serial killing going on within the vampire world and Kade needs to get to the bottom of it. If you're a big PNR fan trust me this series is right up your alley. check it out I promise you won't be disappointed.

I have to start by saying I love the entire BDB series I started reading it back in 2008 and each book that’s come along in the series has not disappointed. This story about Boone really resonated with me. I never really had an opinion either way about him until this legacy book. What a stand up male, and the fact that all these murders are going on in the interim while Boone is trying to make sense of his feeling for a certain female. It keeps you glued to the book. If you have never read this series you need to. These characters are now a part of my book family and it’s just like coming home when I open a new book in the series. Go out buy the first book Dark Lover and I’ll bet you will be hooked

The story grabbed me in the beginning and made me not want to put it down. I loved how the story progressed and also that there are Fae involved as well as Druid Highlander's. In to the next one. I hope you enjoy this series.
