Historia
There was once a velveteen rabbit, and in the beginning he was really splendid. He was fat and bunchy, as a rabbit should be; his coat was spotted brown and white, he had real thread whiskers, and his ears were lined with pink sateen. On Christmas morning, when he sat wedged in the top of the Boy's stocking, with a sprig of holly between his paws, the effect was charming.

Spellbinding!
Revisado: 11-01-19
I too had a mentor who has now departed this life. He left me with many things to reflect on and ponder about dogs and their ancestor, the wolf. I loved every minute of this must read! Even the parts that are difficult to hear but absolutely necessary to comprehend if we are to live in harmony and responsibly with those which we have tamed.
Respectfully, Sheila Gordon

Historia
The year is 1925. It is sixty degrees below zero. The wind sweeps tons of snow over the deep-frozen Alaskan landscape. The nearest railhead is seven hundred miles away. Airplanes cannot fly. The way to Nome is blocked by a treacherous frozen sound, an icebound port, and mountains to the west. But there is a diphtheria epidemic in Nome. The children need serum from the outside world if they are to survive. Their only hope is a few chosen Eskimo drivers and their teams of dogs.

Historia
With Baer Creighton hidden inside a mountain, Stinky Joe survives the wild Flagstaff winter alone. But with first melt, he succumbs to warm broth and sleeping pills, placed at the doorstep of a scheming prostitute at the vortex of a politician looking for an issue, a money-launderer wielding leverage, and his 83 year old meth-dealing target. Stinky Joe learned as a pup: don’t ever bite a man. He’ll beat you near death. But cornered in a bath tub by a pothead with a gun, Joe goes outlaw.
