Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

Another Good Bobniverse Book
Revisado: 11-07-24
I think the one thing the Bobbiverse series teaches us is that no matter how far you travel your problems stay with you until you finally face them.

First, Jake has to survive a perilous trek through time if he ever hopes to return home to his friends, his market, and his former world. The last time we saw our intrepid hero, Jake had barely managed to escape being trapped on a dead version of his own world. Using a combination of his new powers, he threw himself backward through time, back to when the god that trapped him first rose to power.

Sometimes change is good
Revisado: 03-30-24
I liked that they prepared us for having a new narrator and gave us some context. I think that is often the mistake that writers and narrators make when they have to make changes. The story was good. I found myself gazing into the distance more than once just listening. it's a good progression even if it can be confusing at times. It's like the Invincible of audiobooks.

Finally the story begins!
Revisado: 04-20-21
After three books of building the character and creating the world Jacob finally unleashes it all upon his readers!
This was a fantastic story that added incredible depth to the story of the dark and the day while completely resetting everything thing we knew to start a new and fantastic journey. Jacob truly does a phenomenal job of setting up the second act and leaving the reader with a anxious questions of what is going to happen next. This is the book we've been waiting for. This is the story we always knew was possible. 12 out of 10 would recommend!

Of Mechs and Magic
Revisado: 04-08-21
Jacob has written another wonderful book set in a world of futuristic technology and high fantasy magic. Think Altered Carbon meets Lord of The Rings and you're almost there. This book had several twists and turns that I didn't see coming, but that made sense in the context of the world. My only real gripe is that Wayne Farrell is a bit monotoned and in the actions sequences or important moments there didn't seem to be any change in his delivery. Wonderful book though. I would totally recommend it.

There and Back Again
Revisado: 05-05-20
I thought that Casey wrote an interesting take of might and magic and I enjoyed how the story let us get to know the hero personally as he fought against what was thrust upon him. I enjoyed how he tries to reason his way out of things before using power.
Alex does a phenomenal job with the reading and is very good and making very different as well as distinct and believable voices for the characters.

Mechs and Magic
Revisado: 02-07-20
Grey writes a tale of an incredible world where mechs and magic, and humans, fantasy creatures, and aliens all live in one place. In this world the planet does not revolve around the sun so there is a portion that is always day and a portion that is always dark. From this world a small sickly boy emerged to try and save everyone from certain death.
Farrell does an amazing job reading the story and giving it a bit of gravitas. There is a certain air of proper civility to his voice that kept me listening and interested.
I enjoyed the story immensely. I really appreciated the way Grey melded sci-fi with magic and fantasy. It was kind of like Lord of the Rings meets nano technology themed steam link.

Heart Warming Scifi
Revisado: 01-02-20
I enjoyed the story for the most part. Anderson does a good job of character and world building. I found myself generally interested in Ted, Hannah, and Alice as their story unfolds. The tech wasn't too cheesy and everything about the world or universe they live in made sense.
The thing that bothered me was the graphic sex scenes. I personally felt they were kind of distracting and out of place with how well balanced everything else was.
Clark does a wonderful job. As someone who listens to a lot of free books for reviews I can say that he has that quality that makes you want to keep listening or forget that you're even listening at all.
if you're looking for good personal relationships set in a futuristic, spaceship traveling universe this is a good get.

Revisado: 12-14-19
Jake Bible writes about a sci-fi future full of amazing aliens and technology. The main character Roak just wants to get paid and has to travel half the known universe getting into one adventure after another to do that. I enjoyed reading it.
Wehrlen does a great job with story. delivery and using several unique voices. He really made the story fun and interesting.
