This book is eye opening
Revisado: 08-06-18
I really learned from this book. I learned that big pharma's studies are not as scientific or a clear-cut as we are lead to believe. And I learned that depression is not a chemical imbalance that drugs can fix.
Please listen to the book with a skeptical mind, listen to his arguments and think about them. At first, I was a bit put off by his personal story of depression, but by the end, the story really worked. His lost connections really make sense. Plus he's a very good reader and pleasant to listen to.

My new favorite short story.
Revisado: 08-29-13
What did you love best about The Walk Up Nameless Ridge?
The writing was great. I believe I know the character even though it was a short story. Enough science fiction to make the story good but in a way completely believable.
What did you like best about this story?
The way Howey writes.
What does Jonathan Davis bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He is totally believable as the character.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not to spoil the book the one thing that moved me was the main characters' honesty and or dishonesty when he puts his goals above his Wife and kids. How his goals were not as he promised.
Any additional comments?
Buy anything Hugh Howey writes you will not be disappointed. I believe he may be the next Ray Bradbury. Just check out the Silo series and see.

Historia
Known for his network of conservative websites that draws millions of readers everyday, Andrew Breitbart has one main goal: to make sure the "liberally biased" major news outlets in this country cover all aspects of a story fairly. Breitbart is convinced that too many national stories are slanted by the news media in an unfair way. In Righteous Indignation, Breitbart talks about the key issues that Americans face, how he has aligned himself with the Tea Party, and how one needs to deal with the liberal news world head on.

Correctly Titled
Revisado: 04-29-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Righteous Indignation to be better than the print version?
This is a book for audible, but would be great to re-read in print. Jeremy is a great reader for this book he sounds a little like Andrew.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Righteous Indignation?
Andrews stories about himself and his college and path to conservatism.
Which scene was your favorite?
The story he tells about the young guy that he hangs out with in high school and learns political tripel and then he meets up with him years later and he's a mess probably as a result of his political philosophy.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Almost.
Any additional comments?
Very good book. My first though when I finished was it's a shame Andrew is gone, but "I am Andrew Breitbart"

Good, Hard Science Fiction
Revisado: 04-29-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Into the Black to be better than the print version?
It maybe a different book in paper. I enjoyed it read to me but it would be a great beach read on my kindle or on paper. It's not one of those books made to be an audible book only.
What other book might you compare Into the Black to and why?
Foundation series or an epic SF story like that.
Which character – as performed by Benjamin L. Darcie – was your favorite?
Main character Captain Eric Weston and some of the fighter and soldiers. If the author develops them more it would be great. It felt like that was his intention to make a slate to build on for the next book.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Yes oddly enough, I found it very believable in the battle scenes both space warfare, land battles and rescues scenes though out the book. I found the characters very believable. The military protocols were very touching with the the honor involved. I saw kind of a political or moral message to the state of our world today I would be interested if anyone else noticed it.
Any additional comments?
Can't wait for the next book, hopefully the wait is not to long.

Historia
Clare and Henry have known each other since Clare was six and Henry was 36. They were married when Clare was 23 and Henry was 31. Impossible but true, because Henry is one of the first people diagnosed with Chrono-Displacement Disorder: periodically his genetic clock resets and he finds himself misplaced in time, pulled to moments of emotional gravity from his life, past and future. His disappearances are spontaneous, his experiences unpredictable, alternately harrowing and amusing.

Great Read, really enjoyed the characters.
Revisado: 12-31-12
Really enjoyed this book. The characters and their development was very fun to experience. Plus, chronology of the book was good, it allows the reader to experience time in an unique perspective. If you watched the Movie the book is always better. This is an adult book and sex plays a central role in the characters and the book.

A lawyer, still grieving over the death of his young wife, begins to write as a form of therapy. Typical Z Book
Revisado: 12-31-12
Not as good as I hoped. I did finish to see how it ended, and I did like the main character and some of the other minor characters. The characters were developed fairly well in spite of the style of the audiobook. The "journaling" style of the book was grating after a while. It is better in written form.
I would have returned the book but I did like the character and had interest in how it turned out. I think the author should have expanded the hospital stay in more detail. Although there was a bit of creep factor there..but it was the end of the world after all. This may have enhanced the book...if it were not in the journaling style.
I bought the "whisper-sync" kindle book and audiobook, and I did like the kindle version better so you may try that if you love zombie books.
I think the book would really appeal to the reader/listener who is familiar with the story area. I looked up the places on google earth to get a feel for the some of the geography.
The audiobook was pretty good, but the style (journaling) was very distracting. The reader was very good and may have helped me like and care about the character. There were unanswered parts of the plot which may be answered in the next installment. Be aware there there is massive levels of profanity and gore as in any Z story.

Well written and very good performance.
Revisado: 12-22-11
What did you love best about Before I Go to Sleep?
Good solid story that grabbed me at the beginning. I liked how the author pieced together the story without being repetitive. I was interested in the characters and was made to understand how the main character felt about her memory and her past.
Would you recommend Before I Go to Sleep to your friends? Why or why not?
Yes it is good story and the narrator is very good.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened to this in three or four days and it's about 12 hours.
Any additional comments?
The story wrapped up quickly and kinda left the listener hanging on the main character's future. But I think that was the point, so it was good and my credit was well spent.
