Historia
On Tempris, time magic is outlawed, and suspected time mages are hunted. Humans are second-class citizens, shunned by the immortal fey that live on the island. They even have a name for their kind: Shardless. Taly is one of the lucky humans. Taken in by a fey noble and his family, she's lived a good life, surrounded by people she loves. But when an accidental brush with magic causes her to see things - ghostly apparitions that give her small glimpses into the future - it has deadly consequences. The Sanctorum has returned to the island, and if they find her, they'll kill her.

I have been hoping for years that Red’s story would be told! And I loved it! There were times when the narration was challenging to listen to, but the story was amazing! Definitely worth a listen!

Slow build up, but completely worth it!!
Revisado: 09-12-20
Full disclosure... I am a Sara J. Maas super fan! I own, and thoroughly love, everything that she has ever written.
With that said, I did struggle a little at the beginning of the book as she established the back story and an elaborate world where it took place. It was, however, 1000% worth the wait! The action, romance, witty sarcasm, and epic story telling that I have come to expect from Sarah J. Maas came through in flying color! And Elizabeth Evans did an amazing job (as usual) captivating the audience! I just listened to this book for the second time, and I loved it even more because I was able to pick up on little random clues Maas had left along the way! I highly recommend this book and that you give Maas time to set the ground work for this awesome new series! You won’t regret it!

Historia
In a discontented kingdom, civil war is brewing. To unify the divided people, Conner, a nobleman of the court, devises a cunning plan to find an impersonator of the king's long-lost son and install him as a puppet prince. Four orphans are recruited to compete for the role, including a defiant boy named Sage. Sage knows that Conner's motives are more than questionable, yet his life balances on a sword's point - he must be chosen to play the prince or he will certainly be killed. Loved this book!!
Revisado: 03-13-15
I absolutely loved this book! At first, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it based on the premise, but it had so many good reviews I thought I'd give it a chance! I am so glad I did! It is well written and well narrated! The main characters are interesting and the plot definitely pulls you in!
