Historia
A young, naïve but ultimately courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall towers above his rivals—in stature if not experience. Tagging along is his diminutive squire, a boy called Egg—whose true name is hidden from all he and Dunk encounter. Though more improbable heroes may not be found in all of Westeros, great destinies lay ahead for these two . . . as do powerful foes, royal intrigue, and outrageous exploits. Featuring more than 160 all-new illustrations by Gary Gianni, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a must-have collection that proves chivalry isn’t dead—yet.

Please stop whispering
Revisado: 10-30-18
Good story! Makes you want all the rest of the gap in years. It is annoying however when your volume is set and you have to keep moving it up and down. Whisper louder or don't.

Historia
Mackenzie Allen Phillips' youngest daughter, Missy, has been abducted during a family vacation, and evidence that she may have been brutally murdered is found in an abandoned shack deep in the Oregon wilderness. Four years later, in this midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack one wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change his life forever.

Historia
Two men, each handsome and unusually adept at his chosen work, embodied an element of the great dynamic that characterized America’s rush toward the twentieth century. The architect was Daniel Hudson Burnham, the fair’s brilliant director of works and the builder of many of the country’s most important structures, including the Flatiron Building in New York and Union Station in Washington, D.C. The murderer was Henry H. Holmes, a young doctor who, in a malign parody of the White City, built his “World’s Fair Hotel” just west of the fairgrounds.

Slow and demented
Revisado: 05-03-16
I struggled to finish this but eventually managed. So many quotes and not enough action. Small amounts of action were hard to listen to. Epilogue was good.

All of a sudden the characters are clairvoyant? I enjoyed the first 2 but Mr Follett seems to be pushing an agenda with this one.

Have you ever wanted to know the scriptures like the back of your hand? How would you like to be able to quote any scripture off the top of your head when you need it most? There are many techniques that are available for memorizing today. However, some of these may be more hype than practical. Although they may provide an interesting read, when it comes time for practical application, those techniques tend to be a dud. There are methods, however, which have been perfected over thousands of years.

No application, just methods
Revisado: 05-20-15
I thought this would teach you some verses. But it's just telling you to pick a designated quiet spot in your home, make sure you're not tired so drink coffee, ask the Lord for help and then memorize. No application. Sad.

Simon narrates himself. He's a little silly which some people might love, some might hate. I didn't mind. The stories were the best part.

Historia
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....
