Historia
The company of the Ring is torn asunder. Frodo and Sam continue their journey alone down the great River Anduin - alone, that is, save for the mysterious creeping figure that follows wherever they go. This continues the classic tale begun in The Fellowship of the Ring, which reaches its awesome climax in The Return of the King.

Best Narration EVER!

This is seriously almost as good as the movie as far as entertainment goes! obviously much better with story, but the voices were better than any other audio book I've ever listened to!

Many wonderful and inspirational surprises lie within the covers of this book and its companion, Volume 2. W. Cleon Skousen’s deep love for the life, mission and atonement of Jesus Christ culminated in more than 75 years of research and scholarship into the Savior’s eternal role in his Father’s kingdom, here on earth, and into the eternities.

Historia
Rowan has won a battle, but not the war. With proper allies, Rowan’s armies could storm the demon stronghold, capture its ruler, and end the reign of demonkind. But while nations clash, a greater struggle lies elsewhere. In his desperate pursuit of Astaroth, Elias Bram scours the world for clues to the fiend’s true origins, identity, and purpose. His horrifying discoveries hint that not only is humanity at risk, but the earth itself. Its fate may depend upon three children. With their unmatchable skills, it’s up to Max McDaniels, David Menlo, and little Mina to tip the balance!

the (audio) books of my childhood
Revisado: 12-18-24
my name is Jon, and I have waited for this audio book for a long time. I first listened to the tapestry about three or four years ago, when I was in my early teens, I have probably listened to the first four about television times each. I have yet to find another character I feel I can connect with like I do with Max McDaniels. I have listened to these books through some hard times, and through some great. As I grew, I would often associate myself with Max as all kids do with their heros, he got me to start doing mixed martialarts, as well as sword and knife fighting. I loved the story of progression. In most books now a days authors rely on morally ambiguous stories and goals for entertainment. which is so cheap and awful, but I loved how, even though Max had his definite moments, and even entire chapters of weakness, in the end, he was stronger than he had ever been, and it was because he chose to be better, and not be selfish. Unlike Max, I guess I wrote a rather long good bye, but I will say, this has been my favorite book series I have ever read.

Historia
Dalinar Kholin's Alethi armies won a fleeting victory at a terrible cost. The enemy Parshendi summoned the violent Everstorm, which now sweeps the world with destruction and in its passing awakens the once peaceful and subservient parshmen to the horror of their millennia-long enslavement by humans. While on a desperate flight to warn his family of the threat, Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with the fact that the newly kindled anger of the parshmen may be wholly justified.

Great! but I have some minor complaints.
Revisado: 11-19-24
I loved the story! I really did. But I did not like how a gay character was introduced, especially knowing the authors stance on it. I also didn't like how, no matter what, it was all written in the mindset of a male. I will say it was masked though, but much as how Shalon (I have no idea if that is the correct spelling, I listened to it. LOL) is not truly Veil, the author cannot seem to remove himself from the domain of a man. He sought to make men and women equal, but only in the domain of a man, and without including the domain of the woman, and without the family. Which basically makes the female characters male, save the mask. Also, the girls can be written in a way close to sexualized, but not the guys, almost as if the author did not see what women see in men. I will say the hair was mentioned, but that's about it.

This great question of Pearl Harbor - what did we know and when did we know it? - has been argued for years. But no investigator has ever been able to prove that foreknowledge of the attack existed at the highest levels. Until now.
If you like Day of Deceit, try Trapped at Pearl Harbor and vintage audio of FDR's Day of Infamy Speech.

In this stirring audiobook, David McCullough tells the intensely human story of those who marched with General George Washington in the year of the Declaration of Independence, when the whole American cause was riding on their success, without which all hope for independence would have been dashed and the noble ideals of the Declaration would have amounted to little more than words on paper.

Revisado: 07-01-23
I loved this book, but I didnt like the mention of the brothels or prostitutes, I have some before hand knowledge on the year 1776 so it was so cool to connect what I already knew to what I learned, the miracles surrounding the founding or the country are so cool to learn about.
