Historia
There's something about those Wyoming men... New York Times bestselling author Diana Palmer returns to the Cowboy State with a brand-new tale of desire and deception. Cultivating his vast Wyoming ranch is all security expert J. C. Calhoun wants. His land is the only thing the betrayed rancher can trust in after discovering his fiancée was pregnant by another man. But all J.C. holds dear becomes compromised when a lost little girl leads him to Colie Jackson, the woman who destroyed his life.

Dreadful male lead character who got away with treating women with absolutely no respect. Diana, what were you thinking?
Revisado: 03-24-25
Weak female lead character who was clingy and pathetic. Her characterisation was dreadful. An awful role model for any person, let alone any woman.

This author should NOT narrate!
Revisado: 10-25-20
I have enjoyed this author’s stories in the past. However, I will avoid any further books she narrates herself. The production was shocking and I’m actually surprised that Audible have it available on their site. She stumbles over words, stops and rereads, the sound quality is harsh and difficult to listen to. This is a shame as the actual story is quite good. When I looked through the catalogue for others by this author, I found many narrated by her. What a shame. I rarely review and I only do so now to say, use a credit for the author, but never if she is narrating her own book. Based on this performance I certainly would never do so again.
