Historia
Keyanna “Key” MacKay is used to secrets. Raised by a single father who never divulged his past, it’s only after his death that she finds herself thrust into the world he’d always refused to speak of. With just a childhood bedtime story about a monster that saved her father’s life and the name of her estranged grandmother to go off of, Key has no idea what she’ll find in Scotland. But repeating her father’s mistakes and being rescued by a gorgeous, angry Scotsman—who thinks she’s an idiot—is definitely the last thing she expects.

So well done!
Revisado: 01-21-25
Wow! Lana Ferguson rocks another paranormal romance storyline. Sensitive, curious, and fun, Lana finds a way to make the fantastical feel plausible bringing the inner minds of her characters to life. From the sorrow of parental loss to a hilarious meet-cute, Lana created a fun enemies to lovers storyline. She also captures Scotland's craggy loch shorelines, highland walks and historic ruins. It's obvious that every character matters to Lana as she writes a level of growth for nearly everyone.
Samantha Summers brings the fun to her reading, and Flint Park's reading, especially of the spicy scenes, is dreamy. They both did adorably with the accents. Love the duet style of the narration.

Five Years Earlier: Henry Dunne knows three things: that agreeing to host this raucous house party was a terrible idea, that he absolutely cannot show up to his nursing shift tomorrow with a hangover, and that the beautiful redhead in the corner will be sleeping in his bed tonight.

Great story... listen with tissues...
Revisado: 08-29-24
one review mentioned humor, but the majority of the story was about heartbreak, guilt, and remorse,
Strong writing, great performers, but you'll need several boxes of tissues before the end.

Yikes! The Man-Splaining!
Revisado: 08-11-24
I love this author, and I like this series. I was really looking forward to this read. The mmc man-splained way too much to the fmc. Though a strong-willed side character in another book, the fmc never called him on it. There also was no real development between the fmc and other side characters f or m. Sigh...such a disappointment. The voice actors did very well with the what was written, but this one wasn't for me.
For a better series with strong fmcs, I recommend J. Cross' Wolf Gone Wild series.
