Inspiring !

I have Stage IV Kidney cancer diagnosed in Feb 2020.
In a moment, my life changed. I became a quick student of everything under the Sun in terms of how to treat this and not allow the doomsayer statistics control (or worse - hamstring) any efforts to heal my body.
Kristie, thank you for your story !
Much of my journey this last year parallels you and your husband's. Was unaware of the Mindscape program. I will definitely check this out in my local area (Baltimore, MD).
I practice meditation on a fairly regular basis, but nothing quite as deep as what you've outlined in your journey. Most of what I know is the result of extensive research into Chi, Zen, and Yoga traditions. Many years of martial arts training also helped give a foundation for this.
Throughout the last year, I've been undergoing Immunotherapy treatments that have been very successful (so far), but I'm at a point now where it's like taking a positive step in the right direction, only to have a setback in another. Mitigating side effects of drug treatment combinations has been a challenge.
Like yourself, I'm embracing a myriad of treatments that range from both Eastern and Western medicine and employing them as tools. The metastasis growths I have are in the brain, lung, and liver. The liver so far has proven to be the hardest challenge.
It's hard to not be consumed by the rage, frustration and fear (which is where the liver's Chakra resides). It's the letting go part of the ego that's the greatest challenge.
Your testimony touched exactly what I needed to hear.
Thank you for sharing this !
