I understand what hilt meant

but both him and the author of the book over stated the protector of the Grove abilities both in the beginning and near the end of the book let's just say logically the protector of the Grove gets a 8.9-9 out of 10 instead they make it seem that he's 100/10 like some Demi got that our recently empowered MC couldn't possibly beat and that all the rootan get to be assholes in other countries because no reason other than that they said so and everyone must now to there wishes. I say all this because I love this series and I've read all the books that our currently out which is at this moment the next saga past this one and I almost didn't get here because as the reader your gonna be pissed off for a little bit but don't worry it will work out

was an ok story

you'll want to strangle 90% of the characters in this book and you'll be reminded that the Greek gods while powerful in there domains are also the weakest and dumbest arrogant bunch of gods you'll ever run into and that makes you wonder how they didn't lose more fights that being said it was still an ok book very little relationship between the two of the main characters a good 80% of the book is about a dumb guy being shit on by arrogant bully's

I loved this book it's a very real story of falling in love with the last person you thought you would. I read these books out of order but I suggest reading the first book because it's also a great book and if you can make it through the next two to this one you'll be glad you did

loved this book been a big fan since the bowl of souls books so glad to see more of that world and ours blending anyway my one point I have to bring up for anyone wanting to read this book tallow is a brilliant man who unfortunately is surrounded by stupid people that like to blame things that are completely out of his control on him and like to think that they know everything there is to know about things they just learned about not five seconds earlier and that he has no idea about things he clearly already knows about so be warned you'll want to beat tallows family and friends faces in with a brick lol

author is forgetting her own story's

another great opps story but have been noticing for a while now that the author is forgetting little tidbits about the world she's built and it's getting worse in this book Nina refers to her daughter as half vamp half witch which isn't true she's half vamp half-genie or a vampenie her mother is the only half witch half vampire and she didn't start that way till after her daughter was born starting to worry
