I loved the story being told from two different perspectives. Not wanting to give anything away - I typically read/listen to books where the perspective is more one sided. I also enjoyed the reading performances.

Reads like a high school English paper. Not interesting or inspiring. There are no profound realizations, the storyline doesn’t relate back to itself, overall pretty boring. Educated by Tara Westover is a much better written, more intriguing, more profound of coming out of this lifestyle.

Part one feels like it drags on with almost too many domestic details. Not a lot of action. The subsequent parts are more interesting, but not as gripping as the first two books in the series. The ending wraps things up nicely, though.
