Historia
A thousand worlds have opened, and the greatest land rush in human history has begun. As wave after wave of colonists leave, the power structures of the old solar system begin to buckle. Ships are disappearing without a trace. Private armies are being secretly formed. The sole remaining protomolecule sample is stolen. Terrorist attacks previously considered impossible bring the inner planets to their knees. The sins of the past are returning to exact a terrible price.

Again, so much better than the show...
Revisado: 12-11-22
Why they didn't stick to the build-up payoff reward scheme present in the book when making the show is a huge mystery.

Historia
The fourth book in the NYT best-selling Expanse series, Cibola Burn sees the crew of the Rocinante on a new frontier, as the rush to colonize the new planets threatens to outrun law and order and give way to war and chaos. Enter a new frontier. "An empty apartment, a missing family, that's creepy. But this is like finding a military base with no one on it. Fighters and tanks idling on the runway with no drivers. This is bad juju. Something wrong happened here. What you should do is tell everyone to leave".

So Much better than the show's Season 4
Revisado: 11-26-22
I believe Amazon destroyed this book when adapting to the show. I really wish they didn't try to change the story so much.

Historia
For someone who didn't intend to wreck the solar system's fragile balance of power, Jim Holden did a pretty good job of it.While Earth and Mars have stopped shooting each other, the core alliance is shattered. The outer planets and the Belt are uncertain in their new - possibly temporary - autonomy. Then, on one of Jupiter's moons, a single super-soldier attacks, slaughtering soldiers of Earth and Mars indiscriminately and reigniting the war.

Absolutely amazing!
Revisado: 11-03-22
The depth of the world and the characters. The intricacy and lack of redundancy in the plot devices, the details for each extremely different point of view exudes significant knowledge. A stunning job all around. Prax's chapters were amazing and Avasrala's were hilarious.

Historia
Decades before the American Revolution, Benjamin Franklin lamented that English settlers were constantly fleeing over to the Indians - but Indians almost never did the same. Tribal society has been exerting an almost gravitational pull on Westerners for hundreds of years, and the reason lies deep in our evolutionary past as a communal species. The most recent example of that attraction is combat veterans who come home to find themselves missing the incredibly intimate bonds of platoon life.

Mind blowing and emotionally challenging
Revisado: 12-09-18
A must listen. Makes you really question what you think and why. Challenges your commonly misconceived notions about a lot of important things.

Compulsory learning for every human.
Revisado: 10-12-18
Amazing to see how science has developed over the last few centuries. How recent many of these paradigm shifts are. Should be compulsory for everyone. Wish they would do one for the 20th century!
