Wow loved this series!

Wow this series was awesome! I couldn't put it down. Love all of the characters and development. Usually I can't stand when a surprise pregnancy pops up toward the end of books but this one was done well and didn't overshadow the remaining story line. Narrator was perfect. She really brought each character to life. I wish there was more books in the series available on Audible.

Narrator gave me a headache. Storyline was good.

The story was nice and flowed well but it was extremely hard for me to get through this book due to the narration. She has some kind of strange cadence to her style that got on my nerves. It was strangely monotone with a rising lilt at the end of each sentence. No emotion at all. I had to make sure I had the same narrator based off of the positive reviews bc I figured there was NO WAY we were listening to the same person. But Based on the epilogue it seems like it may be a little better in the next book but I am not going to waste a credit to find out.

Another Dumb*** Heroine

Why is it necessary for authors to make heroines out to be such idiots. Ugh. Like it's not possible for a female to have some kind of sense. It annoys the crap out of me.

Should Not be in Audible Escape

This shouldn't have been an option in Audible Escape. Nothing is more opposite than constant biblical references. AND! there really wasn't any romance. I hated this book all around. The 1st story was absolutely boring. The 2nd was ok but again with the biblical references. I didn't make it to the 3rd. Returned.

It was going so well...

It was going so well until the dreaded pregnancy plot reared its ugly head. I despise that. Can't we have a romance without the "oops I got pregnant even though I was taking birth control" crap! The performance was great. I really was enjoying it until the pregnancy and keeping it a secret. Ugh!

Great Series

Loved it. Really enjoyed the fact that no one ended up pregnant in the series. I get so sick of that being the plot in other romances. This was refreshing.

Good but took forever

I am enjoying the series but this one is a bit boring towards the end. It took me much longer to get through this one than the others. Great performance.

Took way too long to get to the point

This took entirely too long to get the heart of the issues. Nothing really happens between them until like chapter 28 or something. SERIOUSLY!? Then the childishness throughout is extra annoying. Neither would say how they truly feel and neither would reveal what needed to be revealed to the other. Well not until literally the very end. I will say it is not the worst I have read lately but it definitely was not even close to the best. The country accents sounded forced but Rudy and Amy did keep it interesting I guess. Book 1 (Blurred Lines) has been the best so far in this series in my opinion. I will continue to read the series bc I do really enjoy Lauren Laynes books but this one was just a miss.
