Comprised mostly of common sense findings and lacks unique perspective. Essentially a collection of opinions from a leftist journalist who lacks the technical understanding required to provide meaningful insight into the topics discussed. Not worth the time investment.

To top off lackluster quality, the author's woke political bias permeates the 2nd half of the book. She bases many of her key arguments around since disproven "Russian collusion" in the 2016 election. This is probably a better case-study of the reach of modern propaganda into the journalism class than anything else. If you're looking to solidify your leftist echo-chamber, this is the book for you.

This is one of those books that puts a finger on a concept that we all know exists, but wouldn't be able to easily put into words.

Factoring in modern tech and business landscape compared to that at time of writing (~2002), shows the global significance and opportunity of nft markets, web3, and blockchain tech as a whole.

Comprised of common sense business tips that read more like a bad self-help book. Was at least hoping for a more entertaining back story, but was lackluster. On top of this, the comedian who chimed in throughout the book was lame.

Contains good information, but lacks in-depth explanations on very thought provoking topics/situations. Also, book doesn't really flow in a way that gives readers the chance to think critically about specific situations before they blurt out the optimal solution.

Good timeline analysis of how high frequency trading began and evolved through natural competition and government regulations. The book provides some technical details behind how HFT and dark pools operate behind the scenes, but it's mostly generalized overviews. Crazy to see technologies considered modern today were being used by these guys 10+ years ago.

Well researched intel wrapped up in a book that explains the inner workings of a complex industry. Displays capitalism at work, author writes from a slighted viewpoint but doesn't really offer any solutions to the underlying issues he's mad about. I'm also not sold on the narrative's "good guys" being all that good in the long term. Bottom line, the industry needs forced transparency in the dark pools.

Very thought provoking read, provides real world and hypothetical examples of how you can look at something from a whole new perspective than how you already do. Concepts can be applied to any domain.

Easy to follow synopsis (broad synopsis) of Plato's Republic. I enjoyed how David challenged listeners to think for themselves in regards to the meaning of certain key aspects. Very well elaborated how certain parts of the dialogue tie into post-Republic era mindsets.

Good collection of work but biased framing of examples

This is a good collection and overview of other people's research in the field of human behavior and common cognitive fallacies. I just wish the author didn't frame most of the examples around his personal political beliefs and therefore potentially expose listeners/readers to his own cognitive fallacies.
