Great academy series

First off, I love LITRPG. 2nd I love fantasy series. I am also a fan of academy series. I love seeing a group of characters develop friendship, bonds, enemies and alliances and to watch them grow in knowledge and strength. The intrigue and guile is handled very well. The powers and their progression are great. Especially the addition of pet companions. Really a great book and a great series. Well written and well narrated.

On the morning of the vernal equinox in 1899, Holmes is roused from his bed by Lestrade. The inspector has received a report of a girl brutally murdered at Stonehenge. Upon arriving at the famed site, Holmes discovers the body of a young woman. On her forehead, painted in blood, is a druidic symbol. On her side, also in blood, is a message written in a strange language that neither Holmes nor Lestrade can decipher. The girl was also eviscerated and her organs placed around her body. As a final touch, branches from yew trees had been artistically arranged around the corpse. Holmes senses a malevolent force at work, but without data, he is powerless. As the weeks pass, he slowly gathers information about the ancient druids and Celtic mythology and begins to assemble a small army of experts to assist him.

Great addition to the Holmes Universe

Well written and well narrated. The story very much captured the Doyle essence of Holmes
And Watson. I love listening/reading all the great additions to the universe of Sherlock Holmes. This is a must for all fans of Sherlock tales. Highly recommend.

Coming back from archery practice, Lance and his club are in the right place and right time to deal some mayhem for the spawning monsters. But just killing them as they come out of the portals isn't enough. They're going to have to go in and finish the job.

William meikle has such an amazing library of short stories to choose from. Don’t choose. Get them all. Not one will disappoint. If you get them in print, ebook or audio you will thoroughly enjoy them. I just say that the audios are my favorite as they allow me to be free to do a variety of things from cleaning, fishing, driving while enjoying the story.

Love playing the game. Love reading fantasy especially the darker and grittier ones. The moon of the spider is a great standalone but blends in perfectly with the whole series. This audio version is extremely well done.

If you live LITRPG or fantasy of any type than all the VGO tales are a must for you. I’ve listened to or read almost all of them and not one has disappointed. The universe is so well developed and the characters are amazing. Truly amazing. And the audio? Out of this world and a great way to pass the time listening.

Rowland’s LITRPG has been amazing. I’ve loved reading and listening to all of his works. This new world of characters and magic that he has created with this and cursed cocktails really does bring us into this cozy fantasy world. The writing is great. The narration is spot on. Love this series. Love the world creation and the possibilities that are inherent to this x-files meets navy seals style of book. This chapter takes us into a blend of merc warfare and Jurassic park dna 🧬 splicing to bring back a blend of species geared for war. Well written and well narrated. I can’t wait for the next bit to come out!
