What a SLOW start to a predictable, boring, drawn out story. I only kept listening in hopes that it would pick up & something would happen to make my time invested worthwhile. I was extremely disappointed. The narrator annoyed me on top of it all. I would look elsewhere for a book to listen to.

Unlike the first books in this series I truly enjoyed the narrator of this installment of the Bone Secrets Series.

Another great installment

I truly enjoyed this latest installment in the Tracey Crosswhite series. The narration was great- as the narrator is known for. The characters are well rounded. The story was solid, keeping me guessing up until the very end. I couldn't stop listening because it was That GOOD. I look forward to the next in the series.

Narration tough to listen to..good story

The story was good, though predictable. However, the narrators voice was extremely tough to listen to. Each time she portrayed Brent's voice, I wanted to stop listening.

Slow Start...worth the wait

This book started out slowly. I was getting bored wondering who the various characters were and what they had to do with the main story & feared that I wouldn't be able to go on listening. Then the connections began and the story developed. Once I got about half way through the recording, I couldn't walk away. Literally, I Had to complete the 2nd half or so of the book without breaking. It got That Good! I must admit that I stopped everything I needed to do in order to finish listening to this book. It was a great story & the way in which the characters lives were entangled was captivating as the book progressed.

Great listen!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Mistakenly, I listened to the 4th book Cold Fear not realizing it was part of a series. I loved it & at the end, the narrator said it was part of a series. I was thrilled & immediately started book 1. Three days later & I've now finished book 2- Cold Pursuit. These books are wonderful. The crime stories are very intriguing & keep me interested and wanting to hear more. There's a great deal of detail to the crimes & the FBI's pursuit of the criminals. In addition, there's just enough story devoted to the development of the complex characters and a bonus of some really hot relationships. I'm on to Book 3 & can't wait.
Definitely worth the time!!

I wish I could get the wasted hours back

This was terrible. From the beginning the narrators voice annoyed me. She sounded like a "valley girl" from the 80s. The story was drawn out & very boring. It was painful to listen and I could not pay attention because it was That Dull. Must admit, I didn't finish. Just couldn't bring myself to spend any additional time waiting for something to happen.
Don't waste your time! There are far too many others to listen to.

Not what I expected from others' reviews

What a let down. Listened to it at the beach & kept waiting for it to pick up & get interesting. Lots of talk about Andrew's penis (main character). Maybe would've been better if I wasn't away from my husband- could've listened to some of the racier parts together instead of watching a porno. Don't waste your time.
