I was surprised at how informative this book was since it also has major portions on socialism and cultural Marxism. The last third of the book has an incredible expose` of cultural Marxism. Kengor also goes into detail about what the difference is between communism and socialism. This is now my go to book gift when I want to give just one book that deals with all three ideologies.

Levin analyzes various Marxist groups and their activities in the USA but fails to call for abolishing the number one Marxist organization in America: public schools & colleges. Marx in his communist manifesto listed "free" (stolen by taxes) public schools as a communist necessity. Yet Levin and most liberty advocates will not call for the total abolishment of these communist "public" schools & colleges that steal money from home and private schoolers on a daily basis by forcing parents to pay the salaries of the communist "public" school teachers. America will die as a result of these communist "public" schools & colleges which Levin and others like him support by not challenging their very existence.

History of socialists disavowing failed socialism

This book is a comprehensive history of socialists disavowing failed socialism experiments after the ensuing atrocities resulting from socialism. It is comical because Newton documents the initial positive statements (and later disavowal) made by western intellectuals about socialist experiments beginning with the USSR and moving chronologically forward to the present. You cannot help but laugh at these socialist "intellectuals". Newton documents their love affair with socialist governments in their own words. Then when the experiment fails, the socialists claim it was not real socialism (the disavowal).

A cautionary look at 10 dangerously appealing half-truths. Not long ago, I came across a list of 10 principles set forth by proponents of progressive Christianity. They are, in effect, a new 10 commandments. What’s striking is that they are far less about God revealing his desires and far more about man expressing his own - less Moses, more Oprah. Yet each of these commandments is partially true. Indeed, that is what makes this list, and progressive Christianity as a whole, so challenging.

Great comparison and contrast of liberalism versus post modern critical theory. Makes the reader realize that critical theorists presume a person is guilty until proven innocent (which is evil and tyrannical). Critical theorists assign guilt to individuals based on external factors (like skin color) which is why these racist tyrannical critical theory professors should be banned from every university & school in America.
