Extremely well written like all of the author’s work. But very different from his other titles. Pulls on the heartstrings throughout. The author’s narration, too, is superb

Blake provides lots of practical, implementable advice for business leaders who want to (and should) prioritize the customer experience (CX) in their operations. She provide lots of evidence to support her points and recommendations. Her examples are recent, and she also gets into the benefits and potential risks of using AI to support CX. Overall, I recommend the book to both CX and general business leaders of businesses of any size.

Excellent guide for charting your career path

This book provides lots of practical advice along with tools and checklists to support your efforts in charting the career path you want and then making the necessary "career acts" along the way. It's a useful resource no matter what stage of life or your career you're in.

I love the concept the authors (who are very good narrators, by the way) put forth about figuring out what roles and tasks put you in a “state of flow.” People can often be good at many things and therefore continue doing those things in their career, but it doesn’t mean those are the things you love to do or put you in a state of flow.

in the chapter about being indispensable, the “CURVE” advice is excellent. In particular I love the description for the “R” and how the authors talk about reliability not just being about doing what's expected but also going above and beyond. I'm often surprised how many people I've worked with in my career don't appreciate the importance of this, especially as it relates to their own career advancement.

I appreciated Dr. Sarno providing non-traditional perspectives that, while not fully explainable, makes sense
