Historia
Savy got burnt when she gave those careless boys her heart. She flew from her cage and built a new one made from fire so no one can hurt her again. She's writing her own story now and they won't be a part of it, her book is closed to them. Her men will do anything to get her back but when fire meets fire it causes an inferno that might turn them all to ash.

This book was so captivating that my stomach was actually clenched at the end. I couldn't wait a second to start the 2nd book. I'm excited to learn how this story will end.
I'm shocked that these are the only books on Audible by this author. I hope that she has written more books.
Enjoy!! You won't regret your decision.

Fantasticly fun romance!!
Revisado: 11-09-24
Fun read. Very enjoyable romantic novel with enough believable twists to keep it moving beyond the predictable. Enjoy!!
Only negative, I wish the narrator would have given the other characters their own voices. At times, it was difficult to understand who was speaking. Don't let that stop you from listening.

Strong characters with great historical backgrounds
Revisado: 10-02-24
The female characters were strong, intelligent, and caring women who didn't suffer suffer fools. The male characters were also strong, intelligent, and caring.
The author does an excellent job of intertwining the personal lives of the characters with the history of the Suffrage movement

Historia
When you've been told your whole life that something is sinful, you have two options. Avoid it like the plague, like it has the power to destroy all that is good and pure. Or become as fixated upon it as Eve was upon that apple. I'm sick of the push-pull of terror and temptation. It's tearing me apart. I just want a bite of the apple. More than a bite. I want to devour it. Have its juices spill from my lips. And by apple, I, of course, mean sex.

The uniqueness of the storyline was fun. The steamy scenes in the club were swoon worthy. Having female and male narrators is terrific.

Historia
One bitterly cold February night at the remote MacKinnon Hotel, Remie Yorke begins her last shift at the front desk as the snow begins to fall. She has booked a one-way flight for the next day—and she's never coming back to Scotland. Or so she thinks. As the storm quickly invades the surrounding Highlands, the roads become impassable and the phone lines fall dead. When the icy temperatures plummet further, an injured man stumbles into the hotel lobby from the blizzard. Police Constable Don Gaines has been in a car accident on the mountain road, and Remie welcomes him to safety.

With war looming, Emelin's plan is simple: break the Mother's bindings while her more diplomacy-minded friends persuade the rest of the world to join their rebellion. Unfortunately, their would-be allies are far too concerned about Em's exact connection to the feared and hated Silent Death. They might risk their lives for the world's only unbound mage, but they'll never fight for a fae prince's puppet. Forced to hide the explosive secret of their love, Em and Creon journey to the plague-cursed continent to learn more about the bindings.

Historia
“The Heron” is the nickname a big-city accountant has attached to himself in his new home near San Diego, where he’s using the alias to avoid a hit man who may be after him. It seems a former client believes that The Heron has skipped town with several million dollars not his own. Don Winslow’s ensuing, entertaining yarn is by turns twisty, dark, and comical as we observe the delicate dance between the pursuer and the pursued.
