Historia
Jill and Derick knew a normal life wasn’t possible for them. As a star on the popular TLC reality show 19 Kids and Counting, Jill grew up in front of viewers who were fascinated by her family’s way of life. She was the responsible, second daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle’s nineteen kids; always with a baby on her hip and happy to wear the modest ankle-length dresses with throat-high necklines.

So proud of Jill
Revisado: 09-17-23
This book is worth the read, especially for people that have watched the show. Jill did a very brave thing by writing this book. It was interesting, honest and heartbreaking at the same time.

Good story but terrible narration
Revisado: 11-03-20
I really wish the narration would have been better on this book. The book is good and worth the read but the narration is really bad.

Historia
Paris, Washington, a peaceful Midwestern campus, and a fabulous villa in Greece are all part of a terrifying web of treachery. Love Sidney Sheldon
Revisado: 06-05-14
What did you love best about The Other Side of Midnight?
I liked the development of the characters Noelle and Catherine
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
It was a steady build, not an edge of your seat type of book. I like the steady build
What does Steven Pacey bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I liked his narrator. He did a good job with giving everyone personality. Didn't like the American accents as much.
Any additional comments?
It's a good read and doesn't have the typical, you can guess it ending.

Favorite book in the series
Revisado: 01-24-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Born in Shame to be better than the print version?
I never read the print version
What did you like best about this story?
I love this series and I think this book is my favorite because you get to see the progression of Maggie and Brianna. I loved that most.
Have you listened to any of Fiacre Douglas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I don't know if this is the same narrator as the first two but if so this was alot better, but still not good.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Maggie and Shannon began to form a relationship. I loved to see the relationship between the female characters grow throughout the book.
Any additional comments?
I really liked this book but I think Nora Roberts could have done a better job developing the Murphy character. In this book she made him seem clumsy and ackward but that was the sense in the other books. I will say that all Nora Roberts books typically end the same but the good part is seeing how the character get there.

Historia
In winter, Brianna Concannon's bed-and-breakfast is a cold and empty place. And that's fine with Brianna. She enjoys the peace and quiet, even when icy winds howl at her window. This year, though, she's expecting an unusual guest: mystery writer Grayson Thane, from America. And sometimes a fire can be born in ice.

Good Book but bad narrator
Revisado: 01-24-14
What did you love best about Born in Ice?
I loved the story. It was rich in tradition. I love that Nora Roberts shows a different type of character in Brianna.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
The narrator used for this series leaves alot to be desired. He speaks way too fast. This book was better than book 1 of the series but still bad.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book made me cry in a good way.
Any additional comments?
This is one of my favorite Nora Roberts series. I wish there were more.
