Historia
The Integration didn’t just change the Earthen Union—it tore it apart. Monsters, mayhem, and madness turned civilization into a battlefield. Yet, while the world crumbled under the weight of despair, David felt something unexpected: he felt at home. Even after being forced into the [Cleric] Class, David refused to yield. He adapted, turning his unwanted gifts into tools of both healing and destruction, forging himself into a battle-hardened healer unlike any before.

Still haunted by her encounter with the Taleen Praetorians, Ilea makes her way south to join the Shadow’s Hand and hone her skills. Having fought alongside members of the infamous mercenary order, she hopes to meet kindred spirits who share her completely reasonable passion for battle, adrenaline, and near-death experiences.

There is no way (from my perspective) these reviews aren’t payed for.
Revisado: 11-28-24
Mc is absolutely trash. The endless chuckling is annoying. All the characters are “witty/funny” in the same way, as in not at all funny. The book becomes so hard to read when the people are interacting and I find myself skipping conversations to not be annoyed by the Mc’s inner dialogue. She sucks SOO hard when she isnt fighting.

Ilea likes punching things. And eating. Unfortunately, there aren’t too many career options for hungry brawlers. Instead, the plan is to quit her crappy fast-food job, go to college, and become a fully functioning member of society. Essentially—a fate worse than death.

This was written by a dude and its crazy obvious.
Revisado: 11-24-24
There was a peeping tom scene that added nothing to the plot except showing that the mc is “cool” with being peeped on. That was so weird and caught me up. Im a dude. If I caught another dude peeping on me, let alone a room full of people, I’m whooping his tail. He is going to know what my knuckles taste like. No person is okay with that and this is what women mean when they say men don’t treat them like PEOPLE. Like, seriously, that was weird.

Historia
Felix's life on Earth had become a series of dead-end jobs, ruined relationships, and rotating apartments smaller than most postage stamps. By all accounts, even his own, he was a coward. Too afraid to move forward, to take risks. Yet when given the chance to choose between risking his life or walking away from a deadly encounter, he didn't hesitate. Moments before his untimely demise, Felix was snatched from earth and thrust into a magical world known only as "The Continent". Empowered by the "System", he learns that he can strengthen himself through combat and dedication.

I loved the litrpg but less interested in the mc
Revisado: 11-11-24
The big issue I had with the MC was his whining about Magda being suspicious of him. It was fine at first but it kept coming up. Bro, she is responsible for the lives of others with enemies after them and you just appeared out of nowhere. Suspicion is a normal and extremely valid reaction. Especially when the mc IS lying. Like, yes, not about what she is worried about but he IS lying. So it just felt annoying to hear him complain.

Aranos has done the impossible: He's freed the first Fallen Realm in mortal reckoning and returned victorious. Revisado: 04-20-24
One of those situations where they are as a unit rude to this guy that just wants to help and making it valid in retrospect instead of immediately. I hate that kind of writing. I want to actually feel like the guy we’re randomly being a jerk to deserves it.

He’s supposed to be an adult.
Revisado: 03-21-24
The wild thing is that if he was supposed to be 15 I could excuse his behavior. He’s not. He’s had so much time to mature and yet he is such a child. Like what is his plan? He doesn’t have one. I get being mad but he’s old enough to have thought about his behavior. He’s old enough to realize he has zero plan. And that the ramification for his actions aren’t worth what he’s willing to do. Genuinely, if he was supposed to be 15 I could get past his behavior, but as a grown man I just keep shaking my head.

Rest and relaxation. That's all Jonx wanted after escaping from not one but two star systems on the brink of being taken over by an overpowered, psychopathic cyborg. Unfortunately, his friend, Zozka, had other plans. "Let's join a Sept," she said. "It's just one small tournament." "It'll be good for the both of us." How could he say no to someone who'd watched his back time and again as they slogged through one battlefield or riftworld after another?

A lot of really good ideas
Revisado: 02-09-24
If you spent anytime learning about writing you’ve heard the phrase, “show, don’t tell.” This series is nothing but tell. Things happen and it is incredibly unsatisfying because you are told about it, instead of reading it. I would praise this series and even recommend it, if not for that.

Historia
Lukas Aguilar used to think he knew everything. Mainly because he believed only what he could prove for himself. No gods, fate, or any such nonsense for him. But that seems like a lifetime ago. Because when an earthquake destroyed his earthly home, he suddenly found himself in a dark dungeon world where gods and monsters are all too real—and supreme goddess Inanna had taken up residence in his mind. Upon learning the rules of his new existence—levels, skills, abilities—Lukas fought his way from victory to victory. That is, until he came up against an anomaly that got him killed.

Main character is a huge problem for me.
Revisado: 10-08-23
Every-time he has a thought about someone else it made me cringe. The mental sneering, referring to intelligent beings as creatures, the way he speaks rudely to some people but lets Tanya push him in a way that would get her stomped out. The constant comparison of Tanya to the goddess, who’s only redeeming quality in the first book was that she was around (not by choice) when mc was alone. She kept her word to him too, ig, but it felt like an abusive dynamic. I just know at the end of book 1 I wouldn’t have felt all the grateful towards her.The action and stuff was cool but the inner and outer dialogue makes me positive I don’t want to meet the author.

Historia
Extreme sub-zero temperatures suffocate the surface. Frozen structures of bygone eras span across massive ice-wastes. And the survivors closely guard any technology rediscovered within them. The only escape from the deadly climate is beneath the surface, but that doesn't mean it's safe... Monstrous machines lurk in the depths. Unhinged demigods war against them, dying over and over, treating it all like a game. The depths themselves shift over time, more contraption than rock.

Humility
Revisado: 07-04-23
The whole time I couldn’t get past the fact that the mc moves past the whole thing being his fault and demands to be treated with respect and like an adult. Like, bro, be silent for a bit.
It read like a cartoon episode where the mc causes a problem, then solves the problem and “learns a lesson”. But the whole time the observer is like “no, dog, you’re the problem. This was all your fault. People are forever changed….”
