Loved this Story
Revisado: 07-12-24
I loved this story because it was very different from most romance novels. I enjoyed the characters and the all the secrets discovered in the repeated time loops. The romance was fun and the book overall was very fun. The narrator took some time to get used to. She was a bit too dramatic, but after some time listening, it seemed to fit with the story, which was very dramatic in itself. I was surprised how much I came to like the two main characters and I really appreciated the epilog.

Despite his warriors' lineage, Erroh would rather waste his potential stumbling alone from one tavern to the next, drinking and gambling. Fate, however, has greater plans for him. After decades of peace, a great war draws near, and though he doesn't know it, he is standing in the way of the first wave. What is more, and very much to his dismay, he's about to find out he's not entirely alone either. But Erroh has a plan, a simple plan.

Loved this story
Revisado: 09-20-20
I loved this book! I thought the character building was done just right. The story was interesting all the way through and the story built in intensity as it progress, to the point that I could not put it down during the last fourth of the book. The narrator did an excellent job. I listen to a lot of audio books, 2-3 a week (mostly science fiction) and I don't often review them, but I felt compelled to review this one because of the criticism I saw when I read the reviews. Listen to this book, you won't be sorry. The only con is that the sequel is not available yet and I have to wait for it.

Loved this audible book
Revisado: 01-29-20
I really enjoyed the originality of this book, the way the author painted the story, the twists and turns and, of course, the narrator. I am a long time fan of Khristine Hvam and she did not disappoint. I am not that familiar with Faith Hunters work, but am now a fan. Really looking forward to the next installment in this series. The ONLY criticism I would give is that it was too short.

A little slow
Revisado: 08-06-18
Overall the story line seems to have slowed way down with this installment. It was very hard to continue listening because it seemed like nothing was happening. I don't really like all the jumping from character to character. The narrations were all very good. I did get the last book in the series just to see how it all ends, but I am not as excited about listening to it as I should be.

Wonderful Story. Kept me captivated all the way!
Revisado: 05-29-16
This was my first Susanna Kearsley story and I loved it. I bought the audio book because Katherine Kellgren is my favorite narrator and she lived up to my high expectations of her performance. The story was intriguing and fun, and provided many twists. I will definitely be reading more of Susanna's stories.

So, So, So Good!
Revisado: 03-21-15
I loved the 1st book and I was worried that the 2nd book would not be as good, but I think it was even better! I loved the unexpected twists and turns. I always enjoy seeing how David gets out of the impossible situations that he finds himself in and I love that his faith and determination never waiver. The narrator is great and I am so glad it is the same narrator as in the previous book. He gets the emotions down so well and the characterization of the different personalities. Can't wait for the next book!

Highly Entertaining! Couldn't put it down.
Revisado: 04-19-13
I really loved this book. Lots of action, enough romance, mystery, twists, heroes, heroines, magic. This book has it all. The setting of the book was foreign to me because I had never read any of Brandon Sanderson's other books, so it took me a while to comprehend the world, but that was part of the entertainment. I really liked the way Brandon personalized the main characters of the book. By the last 4 hours of the book, I just couldn't stop listening.
The narrator was very good at keeping all the voices distinct and conveying emotion. I wouldn't say it was the best narration I have ever heard, but I would rate it pretty high.
I recommend this book and I wish there was a sequel. I would definitely read it if there was one. Is there any chance Brandon? I am planning on starting on one of Brandon's other books very soon.
