Historia
Notes from Underground, also translated as Notes from the Underground or Letters from the Underworld, is an 1864 novella by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Notes is considered by many to be one of the first existentialist novels. It presents itself as an excerpt from the rambling memoirs of a bitter, isolated, unnamed narrator (generally referred to by critics as the Underground Man), who is a retired civil servant living in St. Petersburg.

Bob Neufeld’s Narration is the Best!

of course it’s 5 stars; Dostoevsky classic. But for those who are not familiar with Bob Neufeld, his narration is perfect for classics like this.

Historia
Narrator Dan Stevens ( Downton Abbey) presents an uncanny performance of Mary Shelley's timeless gothic novel, an epic battle between man and monster at its greatest literary pitch. In trying to create life, the young student Victor Frankenstein unleashes forces beyond his control, setting into motion a long and tragic chain of events that brings Victor to the very brink of madness. How he tries to destroy his creation, as it destroys everything Victor loves, is a powerful story of love, friendship, scientific hubris, and horror.

Historia
Shocking and controversial when it was first published in 1939, Steinbeck's Pulitzer prize-winning epic The Grapes of Wrath remains his undisputed masterpiece. Set against the background of Dust Bowl Oklahoma and Californian migrant life, it tells of Tom Joad and his family, who, like thousands of others, are forced to travel west in search of the promised land. Their story is one of false hopes, thwarted desires, and broken dreams, yet out of their suffering Steinbeck created a drama that is intensely human, yet majestic in its scale and moral vision.

Revisado: 10-21-21
This is my first Steinbeck book and I can see why he’s a legend, masterful brilliant writing only enhanced by the great narration... BUT WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS HARMONICA MUSIC LMFAOOO it’s so loud and ridiculous *ends pensive ominous chapter* HI IM SURE YOUD LIKE TO HEAR THIS FUCKING HARMONICA AT EAR BLASTING VOLUME NOW. Like what the fuck 😂😂😂... I still give it 5 stars for performance because Dylan Baker’s narration is masterful
