Phenomenal narrator

I truly enjoyed the story. It is rich and vast and filled with wonder.

The narrator, Khristine Hvam's performance got me completely entranced from the beginning. She is phenomenal. I believe I will search for books narrated by her simply because her talent truly and accurately brings the story to life.

Definitely NOT a book for the paranoid!

This book took off in directions I didn't expect. The disjointed way in which it was told added to the concepts. It is interesting, knowing neuropsychology and marketing, to see how the manipulation of perception was taken to the next level. We have had many novels in the past that focussed on language and how it can be/might be used to manipulate populations, but this angle was fascinating.

EXCELLENT NARRATION on a precious story.

! story is wonderful, if at times predictable. The characters are well thought out. I love the Uncle. So often characters with mental illness or quirks are written as caricatures, but the Uncle is fascinating and treated with respect.

The narration though, is amazing! I will be hunting down every single book this woman has narrated. Her acting skill is phenomenal!

Excellent lead female character building

I have always love science fiction and fantasy fiction. As a female, I have struggled to find strong female lead characters with who I can identify. So often the females are caricatures and either sex objects or devoid of all femininity. That makes it damn tough to get lost in a book.

This series succeeds at building realistic female characters without sacrificing their femininity or drowning rm in sexual stereotypes.

The story is cohesive and the Doyle building complete.

Couldn't ask for a better narrator either! Macleod Andrews applies consistent character voices and his acting skills bring the story to life. I need to keep an ear out for him!

The story is an absolute blast. The writing is refreshingly dynamic and the dialogue-well, that is the best part. The narrator does a stunning job. Absolutely stunning!

Would you be willing to try another book from Colleen Gleason? Why or why not?

I may try the next novel to see if the storyline is more complete, but haven't decided. Normally, if the first novel was good I would buy the series, but not this time. I will have to examine the other reviews..

What about Jayne Entwistle’s performance did you like?

Jane Rent whistle does a marvelous job of storytelling. Her voices are Consistent and unique. She expresses emotion and personality perfectly. Her narration in other novels is why I tried this book.

Any additional comments?

The story left some things happening,lots of loose ends. The conclusion was rushed. The identity of the killer is obvious.

I hare zombie stories - I LOVED THIS BOOK

Is it about zombies, really. It is about survival and how the meaning of the concept of survival is different for everyone.

How has this gotten overlooked!

I love science & fantasy fiction and thus ghastly been a wonderful tale. The narrator does a great job-each character distinct Nd perfect. A couple of things were predictable, but nevertheless, it is a solid story.
