Brilliant writting...but..

A truly amazing sifi/futuristic book... but... personally with Christian beliefs I was very uncomfortable since the beginning of book when the main character went on a rant against God. Least that's how I perceived it. I was unable to be comfortable with the book after that point. To each their own, but not for me.

Makes the bible an easy listen

Surprising love story for children and self.

Reading the summary I was excited about this book. when I first started it I had a ""oh no! this guy is so shallow!" feeling I almost stopped. So glad I didn't.
It's a young man's story that leaves home as an selfish early 20's and becomes a man filled with love and self sacrifice through the giving of himself to this children in need of love and protection . Not to mention what girl doesn't love a love story? And it's true, but I won't spoil it.
I found this book up lifting, inspiring, enlightening and sweet. I recommend it!

Classic comfort food....i mean book!

One of those already classic children's book that adults love too, then it comes to life with all the fiddle playing and superb reader. A true tale of settlers in early America threw the eyes of one of the children. It tells the course of a year for Laura's life and simplicity and delight in that wholesome world is a good read for all members of the family. Love it !

I knew the claims to scientology being a cult, but hearing it from someone who grew up in its most inner parts was astonishing. It's a good listen to understanding the truth behind it.

Really being able to understand my other half from both a biblical and practical view.

What made this so good? It really works if you really apply it. Learning why men tick the way they do ( and women ) has transformed how I interact with the opposite sex. The teaching was not only funny, but filled with AH HA moments of understanding. What better investment than to learn how to make your relationships better? It really has changed for the better how I view the opposite sex and has blessed my home. My other half listed to it as well and when getting into a heated moment we both smile knowing how we can deal with it for the better. A must listen if you want to transform your relationships for the better.

A Love story, plus healing hearts

What did you love best about The Horse Whisperer?

It's hard to say what I loved best. I guess it just swept me up. A mothers drive to heal the wounds of the family ( including her own). The ''horse whisperer'' tom is based on an actually man ( still alive ) today who does horse therapy so to speak. He does therapy for the horses as well as the riders. I suppose the notion and romantic situation caught me up. The story was touching, heart breaking and sweet. I guess it was simple well written cowboy love story with a twist.

Short but worth it

For just a few hours I was wondering how this would be. But I listened to it in one streght. I was shocking and eye opening. Some of your money goes to help support this young lady in this purchase, plus you get a audio book. I learned something new, got an audio and helped support Nujood. It was worth the few dollars for me.
