Historia
Harry August is on his deathbed. Again. No matter what he does or the decisions he makes, when death comes, Harry always returns to where he began, a child with all the knowledge of a life he has already lived a dozen times before. Nothing ever changes. Until now. As Harry nears the end of his 11th life, a little girl appears at his bedside. "I nearly missed you, Doctor August", she says. "I need to send a message". This is the story of what Harry does next, and what he did before, and how he tries to save a past he cannot change and a future he cannot allow.

This is a masterful work of storytelling. I'm immediately starting to listen to it over again.

Historia
How many more times can you see that beautiful girl only a few feet away from you and not say a word to her? She’s absolutely gorgeous, and you know without a doubt that you would love to have her in your life. Feel her body pressed against yours. Tell your friends about her. Walk into a party with her on your arm. She’s right there, and all you have to do is introduce yourself. But something goes terribly wrong.... You completely freeze up. Paralyzed. Just the thought of talking to her makes your heart start to pound out of your chest. Your throat squeezes like a vice.

It's good I guess

If you're completely clueless about women and need a basic blueprint of how to act. But it doesn't go much into detail, more of a general overview which, since it's basically directed at complete social spatzes, greatly lacks in. It's just an endless "don't do this, don't do that", but lacks clear examples of how to ACTUALLY do or say things, which I believe would greatly improve it.

Historia
Logen Ninefingers, infamous barbarian, has finally run out of luck. Caught in one feud too many, he's on the verge of becoming a dead barbarian - leaving nothing behind him but bad songs, dead friends, and a lot of happy enemies. Nobleman, dashing officer, and paragon of selfishness, Captain Jezal dan Luthar has nothing more dangerous in mind than fleecing his friends at cards and dreaming of glory in the fencing circle. But war is brewing, and on the battlefields of the frozen North they fight by altogether bloodier rules.

Loved the story and the characters, with the exception of Longfoot. Can he please shut up???
The narrator was phenomenal, every voice had its own personality and feel. Can't wait to get started on the second book.
