A genuine Dark Shadows story!

This delightful audio drama is true to the series, and provides a real sense of horror. I think fans of the original series are the audience that will enjoy this the most--others may struggle a bit to keep up.

Well worth the time investment

Years ago, when I had an hour commute to work each way, I would select my audio books (on tape) by length--the longer the better. This title would have shot to the top of my "to listen" list. It's a beast, and I mean that in a good way. Hats off to the author for keeping all the plot lines and characters straight as he deftly navigated his story through to the conclusion. (And by the way, while the ending is partly predictable, there's enough of a twist to surprise most readers.). I don't know if I'm going to commit to the entire series, because, well, life, but this one was brought in for enough of an ending that I can happily call it quits if I choose not to go on. In short, if you enjoy Lord of the Rings-type books, you'll dig this, and the performers on the audiobook were fantastic.
