Jake is working at the neighborhood market under his apartment when the world ends. The title and book cover are not very encouraging; but I am glad I tried, the story is fantastic !
the character goes through many life stages, and they are all interesting and engaging, when you think the book reached a plateau, he changes lifestyle once more, and becomes even more interesting ! it's like many books in one !
