Couldn't get into it. I love listening to books. The male narrator was just not my vibe. I would have bought a hard copy if I knew he would sound that unappealing. Audible should give you a bit more sample to get a clear understanding of what the narrators would sound like.

Pretty cool different pov from October. I think it's great that her family and adopted family always come through. I don't want to give anything away, but listen with an open mind if you didn't read the description first. I like the surprise of reading the next in the series without reading the description first. Stick with it, and you'll enjoy another top-notch adventure! I can't ever say enough of how much I love this world and the characters in it. The gal reading it is amazing every time.

Struggle bussing over here. Super excited for the story. The male reader starting chapter 2 sounds like a robot with no inflection to his voice. I'm sad I wasted a credit. Going to see if I can get it refunded.

Take all the stars. Full story, character development (a crap ton), suspense, horror, everything you want! Since quarantine, I haven't been book shopping. I really hope I can grab all of these amazing stories and add them to my collection. Faith Hunter can tell a story like no other!

I haven't quite finished the audio book. I'm struggling to get through it. The reader has aged the main character by 30 years. She even whistled on some of the words ending in s. The vampires went from some kind of old man voice to english accent? I wouldn't be so annoyed with it if I hadn't spent my last credit on this. The story is amazing as usual.
