I loved that this book dealt with grief and how the support of loved ones is so important to helping you climb out of it. I love that the relationship drama is virtually nonexistent, This book didn’t need it. It is perfect!

I am not a reader that tends to join a “team”. I am rooting for them both always. But Maddox with the first fight showed abusive tendencies and within just a few mos engaged in abusive behavior. I agree that kinsley was pushy and overbearing about things but there are ways to bring that up and discuss it like adults. I loved that she made him prove the change to get her back. It was deserved and I truly believed he’d started the work. He needs some time in a therapists office so I’m glad they weren’t engaged by the end. But I did love it!
