Historia
Can’t Hurt Me, David Goggins’ smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.

Authentic, Honest, Inspirational
Revisado: 12-30-22
David and Adam have done it again. Quality storytelling with David’s mother drives the story of how a focus on basic principles and grit allowed people to rise above abuse and an achieve success from a horrifying starting point. David teaches personal responsibility in a way that will get you off the couch and into action. What would Goggins do? - might be a question that inspires you to take action and maintain your momentum. Great work!!

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Good story, Rosario Dawson brings it to life
Revisado: 09-04-22
While Rosario Dawson did not write this story, her voice acting, accents, modulation, volumes and tones made the story more interesting and entertaining. She helped separate the characters better for me as I listened. Andy Weir’s story is an excellent layer cake of “the world isn’t perfect” and offers strong connections to the birth/growth of civilizations that is more believable and realistic. Good character development for Jazz who is neither all good or all bad. I was sick and could not watch more tv so this was nice to listen to while I was sick in bed. The sci fi genre is always my favorite and your imagination gets to enjoy some good science fiction with this book, I would recommend this to a friend. Great teaming of Rosario Dawson with Andy Weir.

Historia
Relax to the natural symphony of steady rain in Olympic National Park in Washington, as the raindrops plunk onto leaves, drip into puddles, and course down the grooved bark of ancient trees. Unlike canned nature sounds created in a studio, renowned acoustic ecologist Gordon Hempton gives you the real deal. He travels the world recording remarkable locations that capture the essence of the place itself.

Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Re-listen again and again
Revisado: 12-17-21
The narrator has an amazing voice especially for the topic at hand. Just great cadence and perfect pitch to describe the stories within.
The contents of this book is so good, because you can listen to this again and again for different aspects. Whether it be for adventure or equipment recommendations or tales that make you realize how serious it is when you cross an ocean or take on a long passage. Just so well organized and worth it for anyone who loves sailing on any level. The vocabulary will help you grow! Experienced sailors can relate well too.
