This story is masterfully written. I love how the author connects so many little stories and details together perfectly to make a cohesive whole! The narrator in this one is also excellent- he maintains a number of accents and voices to help distinguish among characters.

Breathtaking and thoughtful

This story was filled with the troubles of ordinary people’s lives, capturing the essence of being human in a lovely way. Putting a magical twist on it was just icing on the cake. The author was marvelous at pulling together threads that actually surprised you, creating a marvelous whole. I will definitely look for other books he has written!
