Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

Great New Story!
Revisado: 01-19-14
I really enjoyed this offering from Andy Weir. It's not necessarily a science fiction story -- I consider it more of a Robinson Crusoe meets technology on Mars. It was very interesting and the characters are funny and likeable. Excellent narration adds to the humor.

Great New Noble Smith Series
Revisado: 09-30-13
I highly recommend the start to this series. It's part ancient history, part high action, with great characters. It's gritty, just a warning. I differ from some of the reviews and enjoyed the narrator. Check this out, you will not be disappointed.

A great continuation to the Quinn series. This is Quinn as we have not seen him before -- Quinn Enraged. Be prepared from some brutal surprises. Brick does good credit to Battles' work.

Good on Patraeus, But Too Political
Revisado: 02-19-12
Be prepared to take your medicine. I liked the book when it stuck to Gen. Patraeus. I felt it was way too political and Pro-Obama/Anti-Republican. It is not very objective in this regard. James Lurie did a very good job reading the book though.

This is a sweeping narrative history of the events leading to 9/11, a groundbreaking look at the people and ideas, the terrorist plans, and the Western intelligence failures that culminated in the assault on America. Lawrence Wright's remarkable book is based on five years of research and hundreds of interviews that he conducted in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sudan, England, France, Germany, Spain, and the United States.

Revisado: 10-31-11
This book is an excellent and thorough history of the roots of Al Qaeda. An exploration of the roots of evil starting in the 1940's. It gives great insight into the Islamist movement. Though it is lengthy, it is so interesting that it reads quite quickly.

Oustanding! Battles does it again!
Revisado: 10-29-11
Brett Battles does it again with this great new series. It's definitely different from the Jonathan Quinn series (which you should read too), but Logan Harper is an equally thrilling, complex, and interesting character. And also once again, Battles takes us on a thrilling ride across the globe --- all to save a girl. I could not recommend this any more!
