Historia
As an A&R man at Epic Records, Tom Werman helped introduce the world to REO Speedwagon, Boston, Ted Nugent, and Cheap Trick; he also discovered KISS, Rush, and Lynyrd Skynyrd, but his record label passed on all of them. Then, as an independent producer, he oversaw landmark albums by Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister, Lita Ford, Jeff Beck, Poison, and many more. All in all, his record-making resume includes twenty-three gold- or platinum-selling albums and cumulative sales of more than fifty-two million copies.

Engaging and Disengaging
Revisado: 02-07-25
Interesting content related to Werman's adventures in the studio and his many successful album projects...However, way too much time is spent complaining and ranting about others in the Industry...Life is all about ups and downs...Every human being experiences them...It is what makes us who we are...Werman is obviously still angry and has issues with many artists and people in the Industry...It appears that his ego prevents him from seeing that he may in fact be the common denominator.

Historia
Stephen Pearcy was a scrawny, horny, thrill-seeking teenager with an electric guitar who had graduated from backyard parties in San Diego to half-empty dives in Los Angeles before he and his band broke through at Whiskey a Go Go. Cranking out metal just as metal got hot, Ratt was the perfect band at the perfect time, and their hit single "Round and Round" became a top-selling anthem.

The Book's Title says it All!...

Content was typical for the time...Narration was one of the most annoying I have ever heard.

Intriguing Content, but sub-par Narration
Revisado: 01-13-23
Hard to listen to...Narrator incessantly mispronounces important names, and places repeatedly throughout the reading...He continuously places the incorrect 'accents' to pronunciations and inconsistent and routinely interjects emphasis in the wrong place in sentences...This makes it very annoying to listen to for 8+ hours.
If you are going to narrate a book for commercial purposes, then you should commit the time to research the correct pronunciations of key, repeatable names and places related to the content, and practice and rehearse so that it doesn't sound like you are reading the information for the first time in your performance.

In The Unseen Realm, Dr. Michael Heiser examines the ancient context of scripture, explaining how its supernatural worldview can help us grow in our understanding of God. He illuminates intriguing and amazing passages of the Bible that have been hiding in plain sight. Great Content, but Awkward Delivery
Revisado: 12-06-22
The overall content of The Unseen Realm is very interesting and quite revealing...However, for me the author's repetitive style becomes 'grinding' over 42 chapters of information...The narration by Gordon Greenhill was presented in an annoying manner via his chosen pronunciation of many of the key words found in the text...For example 'Philistine' was repeatedly pronounced 'Phil-ISH-steen', etc...After 42 chapters, I wanted to puncture my eardrums...Both Author and Narrator seem to be lost in Academia.
