Historia
The Pandominion: a political and trading alliance of a million worlds–except that they’re really just the one world, Earth, in many different realities. And when an AI threat arises that could destroy everything the Pandominion has built, they'll eradicate it by whatever means necessary, no matter the cost to human life.

Loved it!

Great listen! Just finished and already miss the characters. And the gorgeous voice of the skilled narrator Dami Okukoya. I am tempted to just restart it. Please please let there be a sequel.

Historia
A body always tells a story - but this child’s was a blank page. Rita reached for the lantern. She trained its light on the child’s face. "Who are you?" she murmured, but the face said as little as the rest of her. It was impossible to tell whether, in life, these blunt and unfinished features had borne the imprint of prettiness, timid watchfulness, or sly mischief. If there had once been curiosity or placidity or impatience here, life had not had time to etch it into permanence. Only a very short time ago, the body and soul of this little girl had still been securely attached.

Best narration ever
Revisado: 06-20-19
I’ve returned good books because the narrator drove me crazy, and I’ve endured great books with eh narrators, muttering to myself. I’ve adapted to accents and sped up slow readers, but this is the first time I can say the great narration was the BEST part of this very good book.
That it included lovely characters who are very kind, sweet pigs; a very good person with Down Syndrome, loving marriages, excellent parents, a talented artist based on a real person, and a woman whose intelligence is only matched by her independence made it pretty perfect, IMHO. The plot, which was good, didn’t even need to be.
And going forward, I’ll buy ANYTHING (even The Index of Book Titles Too Boring to Use) narrated by Juliet Stevenson.

Historia
If you fell in love with Melanie in the million-copy-selling post-apocalyptic phenomenon The Girl With All the Gifts - there's more to the story... Once upon a time, in a land blighted by terror, there was a very clever boy. The people thought the boy could save them, so they opened their gates and sent him out into the world. To where the monsters lived.

Music. Just no.
Revisado: 10-24-18
I was so excited for this one. A writer I love and a narrator I love. I am sure the book is fantastic, but I could not get past the constant music in the background. I hope Audible will re-release it without the music.
