This was an absolute pleasure to listen to, and I hope that they make more episodes. Ryan North is quite funny. The Squirrel Girl comic was best comic being published until it ended. It was great to catch up with Doreen and the gang after the series ended. Thanks for making such a wonderful podcast!

This is a terrific audio book. Great performance by the narrator. Very entertaining story, very funny and very consistent with the current comic by Ryan North and Erica Henderson (which is one of the best comics being published today).

Would you listen to Sten: Vortex again? Why?
I don't think I could stand to listen to this book again. After the first 6 books were narrated by the terrific Jerry Sciarrio, John Hough was horrible for the seventh book in the series. It's like he doesn't. Understand. How to. Read a. Sentence. I wanted to finish the story, but it was very difficult with this narrator.
What did you like best about this story?
Good penultimate chapter of an enjoyable series. It is too bad we probably won't get the last book in the series.
What didn’t you like about John Hough’s performance?
His terrible. Cadence. And. Stilted. Way of. Reading. And. His mispronounced. Words. Just. Terrible.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, far too long for one sitting.
Any additional comments?
There is one more book in the Sten series, Book 8 - Empire's End, but don't think I could stand to listen to it if it was read by John Hough. Bring back Jerry Sciarrio, please!

I loved the narrator, and the book

I had read this book when it first came out. I have read all of Tom Wolfe's books and this was and is oneof my favorites. I think the narrator did an outstanding job of catching all the New York accents. I highly reccomend this audio book.
