Historia
Following the stunning success of her high-spirited debut, Karen Witemeyer delivers this compelling blend of humor and romance. When Adelaid Proctor finds herself stranded in 1883 Texas, she’s hired by a British-born sheep rancher as governess for a daughter still grief-stricken over her mom’s death. As Adelaid gently draws the girl out of her shell of silence, the governess and sheep rancher, at first, resist their mutual attraction.

Historia
Trading the popular but inaccurate Western perspective of the Bible for the context in which Jesus actually ministered 2,000 years ago, author Robby Gallaty reveals the fascinating Hebraic culture, customs, and nuances many Christians have never experienced or learned about. He works from the premise that we can't truly appreciate the New Testament unless we understand the Old Testament.

Historia
On Christmas Eve, 2017, Tess Henry was found dead in a dumpster in Las Vegas. Tess was a 28-year-old new mother, a former honor roll student, and a high school basketball player from suburban Roanoke, Virginia, a place ravaged by the national opioid crisis. The New York Times best-selling author Beth Macy chronicled Tess and her mom, Patricia, through Tess' harrowing, years-long battle to recover from heroin addiction in her award-winning book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company That Addicted America.

Heart Breaking Story- Changed my prospective!
Revisado: 04-14-20
I have to say this is one of the hardest audible stories that I have listen to. It’s very heartbreaking and alarming at what Tess went through. Her life story is not lost due to this audiobook. I do believe this book will change the perspective of those brave enough to listen and hear the travesty that happen to Tess. To have a sickness and become addicted by following doctors orders is so scary! Even more upsetting, the pharmaceutical companies knew the drug was addictive! I’m thankful Tess that you have changed the world we are living in, even though you could not change your habits on your own. My heart goes out to your precious mother and your son. I know you left a legacy that is changing lives of others and they are getting the chance you never did. Thank you to those who made Tess’s Life story come alive.
