Historia
Grady Adams lives a simple, solitary life deep in the Colorado mountains. Here the 35-year-old carpenter works out of a converted barn, crafting exquisite one-of-a-kind furniture. There's little about this strong yet gentle man to suggest the experiences that have alienated him from the contemporary world. But that is about to change.

Awesome
Revisado: 12-04-09
To think I almost didn't download this wonderful book. I pity those that didn't "get it" and felt the book's ending was lacking. I suspect these individuals have not experienced or sensed the magic animals have to offer us. Thank you Mr. Koontz for writing this book.

Laughable
Revisado: 11-04-09
Dan Brown's attempt to have his readers embrace the bible is laughable. Even fiction has strains of realism. Don't waste your credits and more importantly don't waste your time on a book apparantly inspired by the religious zealots. Those that believe in Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck are sure to like this trash.

In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women—mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends—view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

Heartbreaking Reminder
Revisado: 09-12-09
I can see why this book has remained on the best seller list for more than a year. It is a gruesome and heartbreaking reminder of the stain the South and religion has made (and is continuing to make) on our country. I would give this book 6 stars if I could. A must read.

A Sad Reminder
Revisado: 09-01-09
A sad reminder of the racism that was and is still prevalent in America today, especially in the South. Makes you wonder just how stupid and ignorant people were and are. A must read so as not to forget how horrible injustice can be.

Outstanding
Revisado: 08-27-09
My wife and I were a little unsure because of the few negative reviews that turned out to be baseless and without merit. We would rate this book 6 stars if we could. Great suspense and even greater characters. Be sure and read Girl with the Dragon Tatoo first. ENJOY!
