The moment he began to use the word sh_t , I was turned off. I had to stop listening when he began to describe how this was someone's greatest pleasure, I couldn't continue to listening to the rest of the anecdote. I will return this audio book.

I was looking forward to listening what seems to be a great book, but I found myself trying hard to follow the ideas and concepts since the reader makes it really difficult to grasp the message.

Biased depiction of Che

What disappointed you about Che Guevara?
Readers who understand Che's motives and objective as a revolutionary will find this book very disappointing. I found the narrative to be biased and always somewhat in a negative light. After listening over 20 hour, I had to stop because I'm half-way through the book but there isn't much substance to impress me. it's mostly a re-writing of Ernesto Che Guevara's diaries.
What could Jon Lee Anderson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Remain objective about the Che's actions instead of injecting his own biased opinion of the man.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Armando Durán?
Someone who knows and understand how to pronounce Spanish words. Very annoyed to hear so many common words mispronounced.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The first few chapters are very interesting describing Che's family life.
Any additional comments?
I was so much looking forward to this book but I am disappointed. Not sure if will read other books by the same author.
