Good story, but very slow and not much action at all, you would think that being that is takes place during ww3 there would be some fighting for there life and it seems a little unbelievable that the FBI would care at all about the main character with the Chinese and Russians invasion going on

I love Mark Goodwin as an author and that all his books incorporate the salvation message, no matter what the story is that is the only message that matters.

Characters made really dumb decisions and for the most part were a bunch of pansies, including but not limited to Colton who was supposed to be a former marine.

I think when I get to Heaven and Paul doesn’t sound like Jonny Cash I’ll be a little confused lol, This reading by Jonny Cash brought my Grandmother great joy before she passed, she was blind, and loved Jonny cash, for her hearing this version was a blessing.

I don't normally leave reviews but this book was that bad, the main characters are the writers of the book and if that dosen't screen self absorbed I don't know what dose. the whole book is like a sociopaths control fantasy. Jeff Kirkem is like an even dumber version of the already dumb Rick Grimes from the walking dead. The book surrounds former military personnel and special forces, and at one point they are giving warning shots to trespassers and end up killing one because he turned around with his gun up after being shot at, this seems very unlikely for former military, not only are you giving away your position by firing a warning shot, you open yourself up to a combat scenario when it is unwarranted and unnecessary, if these guys are even half as good as they make themselves out to be then they would have just confronted the trespassers from an area of tactical superiority. At one point in the book one character, a former navy seal is robbing road blocks because he is board, give me a break, this part of the book gives Navy seals a bad name and makes them out to be nothing more than better trained thieves and moraly questionable. There are no good prepping tip in this book and the authors no nothing about food preservation, it is said how hard it is to store protein long term, this is completely false, you can dehydrat, freeze dry, and can meats to preserve them for years, beans are another good source of protein that can be stored for years. Lastly this book was used to promote Black rifle coffee company and all the characters are real people associated with that company, this it tacky and a poor attempt at publicity. Tom Cruz said in the movie Jack reacher, you can take someone that is dumb as a box of rocks, give him a basic sense of tactical awareness and make him seem like a genius, I would say that is 100% true after listening to this book.

Great story but the author needs to find some new threats for Angle, hearing monkey stomp over and over again got really annoying. It was funny the first time around but got old quick.

Prepper love story

A great listen, not your everyday prepper book or end of the world kind. Just a normal guy that likes to be alone until he meets the right person, I could definitely relate to him in that. Just is a prepper because, well you never know.
