Yes the plot involves an older man lusting after a PYT, this time on a train instead of living in the apartment above. Yes the sex is naughty. Yes the writing is cleaver just like you’d expect from Ms. West. But this story hit differently in a way that will make you look at how you decide to live each day differently.

The author, Elisa Braden, has delivered another delightful book and the eloquent narrator, Mary Sarah, presents an equally wonderful tale about love and sacrifices between two sisters.

I’m so glad that I didn’t fully read the negative comments about the narrator being “too breathy “ . Clearly they haven’t been accustomed to The Regency genre. Take that into account when there is clearly a need for one to loose their breath, aye.

Real Love Does Exist

This is the second novel by Rachel Lindsay and just like her first book it’s witty, refreshing and funny. Loved this book! It’s a Contemporary Romance about a 29 year old uptight woman, Mya, who finds safety and stability in numbers both professionally and personally so much than she fears change of any kind. That’s obvious by her decade long stagnate relationship with Vonn, her college love. She’s on the cusp of achieving her life long goal of making Sr. Executive at the financial investment firm when on a whim she and her best friends/colleagues audition for the newest reality television dating show, Real Love.

There are so many hilarious moments but the one good one without giving away more plot was the sexy lingerie scenario Mya used to recuse her & Vonn’s dead on arrival relationship is ….. priceless.

All’s I want to know is when Rach is going to pen Book #2 featuring lil sister Ella finding her Real Love!

Set the listening speed to 1.2 for better audio results.

Top Notch Story By Prince Harry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Prince Harry is very brave and straight forward in this autobiography about his extremely secluded, gilded life as the next inline Royal that is turned upside down with the sudden death/murder of his Mum by the paparazzi. That’s the heart of this story. I will never forget the images of those two boys forced to walk behind their beloved Mother’s coffin. That was the single most detrimental thing The Firm did to William and Harry, then not given any chance for therapy or counseling because it would look bad in the public!

I commend Harry for honoring his marriage vows to Meghan; he did what every man is supposed to do for his wife & child, protect them at all costs. Even if it means leaving the country due to the unholy alliance King Charles made with the British tabloids years earlier.

The Secrets that Bind ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Midori and Jaydah have been secret lovers for the past two years. Midori has told so many lies to her lover in order to maintain her wealth & status symbol but loveless marriage to fellow physician Dr. Ray Hunter, the womanizing Chief of the Gynecology Department. Yes the hotty doc loves the female anatomy so much that it’s known around the private clinic of his exploits with ALL the women on staff. But Dr. Horndog hasn’t been intimate with his wife for the past five of their seven years of marriage. No wonder Midori falls head over heels in lust with the equally sexy Adult Fiction author, Jaydah. One of the many secrets Midori is holding is that she’s a closeted lesbian, and that’s why she allows her bed hopping husband to continue his antics. Deep down she loves Jaydah and what they have in secret but needs the financial stability from Ray.

All of these secrets collide on the eve of Midori’s birthday when Ray suddenly changes his tune. They both married for better or worst and this is definitely the worst.

The main characters in the story are well written with enough backstory to keep you engaged during the trio’s secrets, lies and deception unfolds. Much of the storyline is set in present day Philly, with a few flashbacks that are essential to continuing the intrigue & drama flowing between Midori and Jaydah.

The smut meter is hot! featuring a lot of oral, of course girl on girl action, well multiple times, light anal but unfortunately no ménage.

Best line: “Is this what happens when you get married out of necessity??”

Black International Love Story ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I would have given it 5 stars but even after speeding up the narrator to 1.2, it couldn’t produce a halfway decent British accent. The storyline itself about a group of wealthy black lesbians from Memphis TN crossing paths with a similar group of interracial British Aristocrats was very refreshing, and captivating. The smut meter was in the middle considering the level of hotness these sexy women were giving off. Terry the pharmacist was the only kinky one in the group b/c of her bedroom skills. The opportunity to have threesome was mentioned, a couple of times, but never happened.

Overall I really enjoyed the story and would definitely watch it on the movie screen.

Give This Series A Chance!!!

At first I was leary about this audio but after a while AND speeding up the rate to 1.2 solved the “bad punctuation “ complaints. Seriously people….
Dante, and his band, or Family of street gangsters continue on the path of ruling the drug game and dirty cops, agents and rivals. The major players learn to cope with their life choices while NOT playing the victim and complaining about their shitty childhoods for 5 chapters. It’s fast paced drama set in real life scenarios and I can’t wait to read what happens next to Dante, Elena, Natalie, Dre, Nessa, T, Amber and the dirtiest Police Captain Angela.
Smut meter: 1 b/c the potential for gratuitous sex is there but never happens!!!

The First Time

The Ex Assignment is the first of four books the series and it packs a lot of drama, plot twists and suspense. It’s also my first time with this Author.

There’s detailed background information on each character but the two key players in this book Declan and Gabby are multi layered and deep. So in depth is the character(s) building and forming of the various plot lines that the two ex’s don’t get down and dirty until the end of Chapter 12. Yup, a whole four hours of witty bantering, telling lies with some truths revealed and plenty of internal dialogue from Deck & Gabby that kept me interested enough to continue listening. Don’t get me wrong there’s definitely chemistry from the leads but no heat or even steam are presented considering they hadn’t seen each other in 17 years. There are about five sex scenes, which are NOT in detail and are all very vanilla. Regarding the over use of F bombs. Let’s just say the number of sex scenes are higher than flagrant or unnecessary swearing considering the majority of the characters are either cops, CIA agents and/or mercenaries.

The two narrators, Emma Wilder and Rock Engle, were exceptional considering they had to voice over a dozen characters from a wide range of diverse nationalities.

This book was free. To be honest it’s up in the air if I will purchase the other books because it was listed as a Military, Romantic Suspense novel. The storyline was successful in portraying two of the three, but in bringing the romance, it was very mainstream. It does have an HEA.

Don’t Let the Cover Fool Ya!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is a delightful novella about a sexually curious virgin stalking the towns’ new doctor, a true Southern Gentleman escaping the brutal aftermath of the Civil War. Yes the same era, the late 1880’s, as the other (free) book, but the cover art doesn’t match the contents of this deliciously erotic tale of the next Lenox Sister. There’s eight in all. I don’t know if the author has written a novella for each (non-biological) sister named after a flower. Anyways, bookish smart Daisy Lenox and the dashingly mysterious Dr. Ethan James share more than a passion for volumes of scientific literature.

Ms. Vale’s erotic western novella delivers all the hot feels, a wet and tantalizing tale filled with dirty talk, oral, anal play, spanking, and light Dom/Sub action. I love smut and Ms. Vale satisfies my kink.

The narrator sounds best at 0.9 speed, trust me. Unfortunately the fact that she sometimes forgets to use Doc’s distinctive drawl is a bit annoying.

Best Line: Right now I’m gonna to fill another spot inside you, right now.

Why is the title of the book named “Brands & Bows” after a Doctor and a Bluestocking?? Saddle up, go for a ride and see.
