Historia
On a hot August night, Lt. Eve Dallas and her husband, Roarke, speed through the streets of Manhattan to the Down and Dirty club, where a joyful, boisterous pre-wedding girls’ night out has turned into a murder scene. One of the brides lies in a pool of blood, garroted in a private room where she was preparing a surprise for her fiancée—two scrimped and saved-for tickets to Hawaii. Despite the dozens of people present, useful witnesses are hard to come by. It all brings back some bad memories for Eve.

Eve has a good life. She wakes up each day, kisses her husband Nate, and heads off to teach math at the local high school. All is as it should be. But Eve knows there is far more to these ugly rumors than meets the eye. Addie can’t be trusted. She lies. She hurts people. She destroys lives. At least, that’s what everyone says. A picture of a teacher with a twist
Revisado: 02-13-24
I loved all the twist and turns. I felt very badly for Addie. I also felt bad for Eve. The ending was awesome. I love stories where the bad guy gets his own justice from his victims. I was hoping for an arrest and they try on or something to find out how many other people had he been abusing sexually.
Well done well done, Frida!

Historia
Los Angeles is a city of sunlight, celebrity, and possibility. The L.A. often experienced by Homicide Lt. Detective Milo Sturgis and psychologist Alex Delaware, is a city of the dead. Early one morning, the two of them find themselves in a neighborhood of pretty houses, pretty cars, and pretty people. The scene they encounter is anything but. A naked young man lies dead in the street, the apparent victim of a collision with a moving van hurtling through suburbia in the darkness. But any thoughts of accidental death vanish when a blood trail leads to a nearby home.

Keep reading this series will let it go
Revisado: 03-14-22
I think Mr. Kellerman needs to go back and re-search better ways to tell the story of Alex Delaware there’s something missing in the past few books. I am contemplating completely dropping this series. Maybe I have outgrown it. However it needs more to it like it had in the early books the story of Robin and Alex is stale you don’t see much of the friendship of Milo and Alex the only thing that is cute are the dogs.

Historia
LAPD Homicide Lieutenant Milo Sturgis is a master detective. He has a near-perfect solve rate, and he’s written his own rule book. Some of those successes - the toughest ones - have involved his best friend, the brilliant Psychologist Alex Delaware. But Milo doesn’t call Alex in unless cases are "different". This murder warrants an immediate call. Milo’s independence has been compromised as never before, as the department pressures him to cater to the demands of a mogul: a hard-to-fathom, megarich young woman who is obsessed with reopening the coldest of cases.

Good lukewarm soup
Revisado: 03-18-21
This book was like having a lukewarm homemade soup that was just good not great. I continue with this series because of the friendship between Milo Sturges and Dr. Delaware. I wish the relationship with Robin with develop more and the same with Rick Silverman Sturgis is a partner. As always done with his thing does a wonderful job in narrating his voice is a little too smoky for me but it still works for this book if you want friendship you got it with this serious

Revisado: 12-30-20
U Nice nice fluffy kitty cat at my feet and a beautiful cozy mystery being read by my phone I enjoyed this book and will read more from this author I just did not like the Trump of the person running away or someone hiding a secret I think that Trump is getting a little old and that I love these mysteries where they’re in our family bookstores a restaurant. I read this book highly because the narrator was great in the store Nice cozy mystery with really good characters in a little bit of a mystery. That’s why I read it it five stars the only low rating I gave it was a four. Enjoy it📚📚🐱🐱

I love the characters. I like the story line. But I am more invested in the characters see what happens after the story.
The book had places throughout it, where were to be cut off of the narrator speaking. That brought distraction to the story in the book. I would recommend it to everyone though. This special series has grabbed me from black one.

Revisado: 10-17-20
I like this character a lot. Like all of the characters in the story. I also like the way they cover PTSD.
The dog is gorgeous
It was so much predictable that the main character Katie would go off rogue and on her own.
This is happening all of the books.
However, I would keep reading. I recommend that you start this series in order.
Four stars overall weight reading. The narrator was awesome.
Hope that doesn’t change. Looking forward to the next book.
