Hooked From Chapter One—Dark, Raw, & Addictive

This is a dark book—please make sure to check the content and trigger warnings before diving in. That said, I was completely hooked within the first chapter. Cohen (the MMC) had me ready to choose the bear, and Emily (the FMC) and all she’s been through? Whew. They truly deserved one another. Their story was raw, emotional, and so gripping. And that ending?? I still have no words… smh.

Narration-wise, Maeve York and Sean Masters absolutely nailed it—A+++ delivery. They brought every moment to life, and I can’t wait to continue the rest of the series!

Emotional, Spicy, Unputdownable Romance

Sloane St. James does it again! I've been obsessed since Coach Sully, and Fight gave me everything—a gripping plot, emotional healing, and steam that had me fanning myself mid-chapter 😮‍💨🔥

Scottie’s journey out of that cult? Powerful. Cal? Whew. Jaded and grumpy thanks to his two-timing ex and trash coworker, but once he knew Scottie was it, he was all in—no matter the obstacles. I usually hate the miscommunication trope, but this time? It actually worked. 👏

And the spice?? Listen. I’ll never look at an ambulance the same way again 🚑🔥 And Battleship?? Emotionally unwell 🫠

Savannah Thomas and Brandon Francis absolutely slayed the narration. First time hearing them and I’m now officially obsessed.

If you love emotional redemption, steamy scenes in unconventional places, and narrators that deliver, hit play immediately. Just maybe don’t listen in public unless you want people side-eyeing your blush 😅

Steamy, Twisty, and Unforgettable

I am so glad I took a chance on this new-to-me author, Berlin Wick! The Secrets We Hide is an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. The spice in this story had me melting into a puddle—seriously, it’s that good. The chemistry between the characters is electric, and the twists and turns throughout kept me on the edge of my seat. Every time I thought I had things figured out, Wick threw in another surprise that completely caught me off guard!

Let’s talk about the narration—Ms. Brandon Davis-Butler did an outstanding job! Her voice brought the story to life, adding depth to the characters and their emotions. I will definitely be looking into more of her work. I was already an auto buyer for Sean Masters, but after this performance, I'm sold on Ms. Davis-Butler, too. I’m so grateful to have won this audiobook in a giveaway, and I can’t wait to dive into more of Berlin Wick’s books. I’m hooked!

Such a delightful holiday novella blends Hallmark-worthy charm with a dash of steamy romance. From the story of Emily and St. (Nick)'s playful meet-cute to the sizzling text exchanges that lead to Santa showing up at Emily’s doorstep, it was oh-so-delicious. Kelsey and Aaron’s narration is phenomenal, bringing the characters to life with emotional depth and playful chemistry. The Christmas puns are spot-on and add a layer of humor to the festive vibes. It’s a short, sweet, and spicy read perfect for fans of small-town holiday romances with a naughty twist!!

Hooked, Enraged, and Ready for More

Devoured it in one sitting! Verena and Dacre’s journey had me completely hooked, and that ending? I’m enraged. How could it leave me hanging like that? I’m all in for Book #3 and rooting hard for #JusticeforVerenaandDacre.

The narration was yet again top-tier, with Aaron Shedlock’s dirty talking in my ear absolutely doing me in. If you’re looking for a gripping read that will leave you desperate for more, this one is a must! March can not come faster!!

Dark Fantasy Romance at Its Best

My first dive into Fantasy and I was hooked! The enemies-to-lovers tension between Dacre and Nyra/Verena was everything, with banter that had me grinning and gasping in equal measure. Aaron Shedlock and Aubrey Vincent made the story even better—their narration was delicious and brought the characters to life.

That cliffhanger, though! I can’t stand them, so I’m already on to the next book. If you love fiery dynamics and captivating storytelling, you’ll love this one.

The Game changer and His Ace

Where do I begin? First one of my favorite tropes which is an addictive enemies-to-lovers romance that completely captivated me. Celeste and Liam are unforgettable—she’s the polished, duty-bound "princess" hiding her cracks, and he’s the dangerously unhinged cabal leader who sees straight through her mask. Their chemistry is explosive, and the tension between them is electric as they navigate corruption, chaos, and a game where the stakes are life and death.

The story is packed with twists that kept me on edge, especially with lines like “Never let them see. Always keep them guessing. Play their game.” ringing true for both characters. Two of my favorite narrators, Angelina Rocca and Aiden Snow, brought so much depth to Celeste and Liam—her vulnerability and his raw intensity felt so real. Their performances made this already gripping story impossible to pause.

I'm patiently waiting for Tytan's story...

Perfect Blend of Suspense, Steam, and Strategy

This trilogy combines dark romance, revenge, and brilliant twists. The story’s core theme of manipulation unfolds through Sebastian’s sinister plans and Hayli’s seemingly naïve persona, but the real genius lies in Hayli’s unexpected brilliance. Her ability to outmaneuver everyone proves she’s been playing chess all along, not checkers.

The trilogy keeps you hooked with its escalating tension, steamy encounters, and suspenseful revelations. Cat daddy Jack Calihan’s narration is stellar. It effortlessly distinguishes Hayli’s sweet tone from Sebastian’s brooding intensity, enhancing the overall experience. It was a gripping, unforgettable ride from start to finish!

New Love on the Open Water—Oh, Ship! Delivers!

I received Oh, Ship! as an audiobook for an honest review, and it did not disappoint! When Jackson’s fiancée cheats on him, he takes their already-booked romantic cruise solo—only to meet Diago, a gorgeous and hilarious breath of fresh air who turns Jackson’s heartbreak into a high-seas adventure. Over four steamy days, Jackson finds himself unexpectedly captivated, making the cruise a whirlwind romance rather than a pity party.

Wesley Lynch’s narration really brought this story to life; though some side characters were a bit exaggerated (in a hilarious way), his performance kept me hooked. Both the authors and narrator were new to me, but this definitely won’t be my last encounter with their work!

My first Kacey Shea book but not for last....

This book pulled in my heartstrings, please listen to the trigger warnings before continuing because this book hit me with all of the feelings and emotions. Maxine Mitchell and Robert Hatchett's narration was amazing!! I was so engrossed with the book that I finished it all in one day. Need to go back and listen to the first two books in the Wilder Valley series.

P.S. I was so hyped to hear Robert Hatchet singing.
