Historia
The first book in the Knights of the Wind series, The Power of the Mage, set the stage for brothers Jarrod and Garren, who grew up in a small town with dreams of their own. One brother wanted to be a knight of the realm, and the other wanted a simple life and was ready to take over the family Inn business. Suddenly, they were thrust into a struggle to save the world; the boys had to discover themselves, find new loves, develop new friendships, and figure out how to bring balance back to the land without destroying everything in the process.

Love this story
Revisado: 03-16-24
I love these books. Full disclosure I’ve read the print versions and when I heard they were on Audible I decided I wanted to listen to them too. I’m glad I did I had forgotten a lot of the details from when I read it.
Michael’s creates such a rich world full of detailed characters that you can see and feel. You root for them and get to know them as if you were part of their group. I love Eve and Garren the best but Jarrod is great too.
If you enjoy Epic fantasy with tons of details in the expansive world you’ll love this series and this book is just as good as the first.
In terms of the narrator this one I liked better than the one that did the first book and his sound quality was better. He reads with a lot of feeling too. My only complaint is I don’t love how he does the girl’s voices they all kind of sound the same and they’re too high and Winey. I think he needs more practice there. But I’ll still listen to the 3rd book, I don’t think it’s the same guy.

A brave knight then beat the darkness, with the help of a great wizard. With the new evil on the rise, the world needs a new Knight of the Wind to defeat it. With the knight trial tournament taking place after four years, the king thinks he can unite the different cities with their separate Knight Orders.

Love the story
Revisado: 11-09-23
I’ve read this story in paperback and love it. It’s an engaging story with clever, fun characters. If you like D&D inspired fantasy with beasts and mages and magic this one is for you. It’s epic fantasy at its best.
The narrator has a lovely voice with a lovely accent. Good feeling in the characters too.
My only criticism is I don’t like the background music. It’s distracting for me because I can’t seem to fade it down. Not sure why that might just be my phone. But a lot of listeners may like it and think it adds to the emotions and creativity. I think it just depends on your personal preference. Give it a shot and see. 😁

My blood can cure death, but it can also be the deadliest poison on Earth, and the gods will try to kill me just for existing. Hades wants me to join him. Zeus is still bitter about an age-old prophecy that the dark gods, the monsters of Tartarus, will rule Olympus. And Poseidon is the key to everything, maybe even my heart, but his son, Triton, rules Atlantis, and I accidentally killed his daughter, Coraline.

Ver Cool Story
Revisado: 11-06-23
I liked this story honestly more than I thought I might. I’m so not a fan of Greek mythology so I thought ehh I don’t know. I’m glad I tried it because it did keep my attention and I enjoyed it. I liked the characters a lot. Their chemistry was obvious from the get go. I’d be interested to read the second one.
Narration was great. I love Stevie so much I asked her to narrate my audiobook as well. She has such feeling and passion in her voice it’s awesome. Only slight criticism I have on this one is that Triton & Dion’s voices sounded pretty similar. I wish Tritons was deeper. But that’s ok. They were different enough that you could tell who was who.
Looking forward to the next one.

Good book
Revisado: 03-06-23
I wouldn’t say this was the absolute best story I’ve listened to, but it certainly wasn’t the worst. I didn’t know who done it until the end so that means it was written well. Not predictable is always good in a mystery. I’m not sure why it didn’t grab me as much as some other books but it just didn’t. I liked the male narrator but wasn’t a huge fan of the woman, she had a nasal quality that was annoying. Wasn’t terrible though, they certainly tried hard with a lot of emotion and conviction. I give it 4 stars overall and I’m sure others would enjoy it.

What?!
Revisado: 02-21-23
Holy moly! Crazy story, even crazier ending! I didn’t see any of it coming & spend the last hour of the book gasping over & over as new details were revealed. I still have questions. I’ve been listening to a lot of creepy stories, especially about married couples with secrets lately, but this one may just be my favorite.
Bravo to the narrators too they did a great job, especially Richard, his voice is both soothing & creepy somehow.
My only criticism is that when the wife was reading her letters I didn’t like how in every single one she makes a comment then says, no, scratch that, then rephrases it. Not sure why the author made that choice except maybe to show the wife’s personality as someone who changes her mind and censors herself, but for whatever reason, it annoyed me & I rolled my eyes every time she did it. Other than that the book was 100 percent fantastic! Highly recommend!

Revisado: 02-02-23
Wow, what a beautiful story & such talented narrators! I’ll be checking out this author again. It sucks you in from the very first page and clutches you tightly until the last. I’ve read a lot of books lately that jump back and forth from chapter to chapter between different characters and sometimes it is disorienting. Sometimes you care more about one character than the other & find one boring. Not so in this story. I felt a kinship to all of the women & loved seeing how their stories intertwined. Extremely well done. Five stars!

A Deep Story!
Revisado: 11-28-22
Wow. I just…wow! This book was tough to listen to because it’s sad to think that like Robin Williams one of the funniest men in show business struggled so hard & felt so much fear & so alone. I had to listen to it just a little bit at a time & there were definitely chapters that made me cry sad tears. But the end had me crying hopeful & happier tears. I’m not a person that prays much but I will pray that Mathew Perry lives the rest of his life clean, sober, without fear, and finally knowing real love & confidence. Because he is & always was enough & people love him. So if you read your reviews Mathew. Thank you for everything wonderful you’ve done in your life & I wish you the best in your future.
P.S. I was a huge fan of Go On. 😉

One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Revisado: 11-18-22
I am fairly new to listening to audiobooks so maybe I am simply a novice and do not know any better. But this has been my favorite or tied for my favorite audiobook. The narrator’s are wonderful, captivating & easy to listen to with incredible feeling in their performances.
The story itself reminded me of a Alfred Hitchcock film. I could see it all unfolding. The details were perfect, not too many that you say go on get on with it, but not too little that you can’t visualize it. It was perfect.
The characters were instantly interesting and likable each with pasts & secrets you know are hidden and that leak out slowly over time and turn blobs of paint on a canvas into a clear picture.
The twist ending was one I didn’t predict but one that completely made sense so much so that I said “ohhhh wow, of course!” In my living room alone.
Well done Alex, Jack & Louise. Bravo!

Tom Felton’s adolescence was anything but ordinary. His early rise to fame in beloved films like The Borrowers catapulted him into the limelight, but nothing could prepare him for what was to come after he landed the iconic role of the Draco Malfoy, the bleached blonde villain of the Harry Potter movies. For the next ten years, he was at the center of a huge pop culture phenomenon and yet, in between filming, he would go back to being a normal teenager trying to fit into a normal school. Speaking with great candor and his signature humor, Tom shares his experience.

Such a wonderful story. I don’t know if it would have had the same effect on paper without his amazing voice. It made me burst out laughing like a lunatic at my son’s soccer games & made me choke back tears about his beautiful transformation in life. Thanks Tom Felton for writing this. It was just what I needed to hear at this moment.

I read this book before in several stages. I was a beta reader then read it when it was finished in paperback form. I am pretty picky about fantasy, being a fantasy author myself, but I love this series. I blew through all 3 books because I loved them so much! The story is so engaging from the get go & they only get better so if you liked this, keep reading/listening.
I was worried that because I loved the book so much the audio version would disappoint me because the characters might not sound the way they do in my head, but they not only sound good, they sound better!! Alex did an amazing job! I especially liked his Taryn voice.
Bravo keep going C.S. and Alex!! Can’t wait to hear the rest.
