Six minutes after takeoff, Flight 1421 crashes into the Pacific Ocean. During the evacuation, an engine explodes and the plane is flooded. Those still alive are forced to close the doors—but it’s too late. The plane sinks to the bottom with twelve passengers trapped inside. More than two hundred feet below the surface, engineer Will Kent and his eleven-year-old daughter Shannon are waist-deep in water and fighting for their lives.

Excellent tale and bonus for being set in Ohio
Revisado: 09-27-22
I loved this tale of mystery and deceit at the highest levels. Bonus points for being set in Ohio where I knew the geography and some of the background. lot twists and turns kept me engaged.

Great new series
Revisado: 09-27-22
I had grown tired of the Vampire Hunter series as it never seemed to go anywhere. This new series seems to have potential to explore real crime while keeping the supernatural vibe alive. For a first book, the characters were well developed and seem to be capable of future subplots. Hooping this one does not go off the rails!

When Juan Cabrillo fails to capture the leader of Mexico’s most dangerous drug cartel and loses an Oregon crew member in the process, he’s determined to get revenge. Great......but
Revisado: 09-27-22
I did not anticipate another new author to take up this series. Of course there are always subtle changes when you get a new author and unfortunately I think I was irritated with everyone of those changes! Honestly, during the second listen, I was not as irritated and "relaxed" and enjoyed the yarn. Maden was true to Cussler's characters but with subtle changes every now and then. Loved the action and plot and was amazingly glad that we did not get a love story in there!

Historia
In 1885 Jane and Leland Stanford cofounded a university to honor their recently deceased young son. After her husband's death in 1893, Jane Stanford, a devoted spiritualist who expected the university to inculcate her values, steered Stanford into eccentricity and public controversy for more than a decade. In 1905 she was murdered in Hawaii, a victim, according to the Honolulu coroner's jury, of strychnine poisoning.

Interesting true tale
Revisado: 09-27-22
I was very intrigued with this Deal of the Day. I had no knowledge of the history of Stanford University and had never heard of the Stanford family. I enjoyed the tale and appreciate the research. I did get "lost" a few times, which is why I rated it 4 stars rather than 5 stars.

Well developed mystical story
Revisado: 11-18-16
If you could sum up Demon Revolution in three words, what would they be?
Compelling, fantasy, thriller
What was one of the most memorable moments of Demon Revolution?
Without being a spoiler, I was riveted when the final showdown took place.......and love the seq-way into the next book.
What does Abby Elvidge bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Overall I liked the life she gave to the characters but one of the voices was rather annoying.
