Historia
Hundreds of thousands of miles away on the dark side of the moon, the Russian lunar base has self-destructed - all personnel are dead, except one. Olga Sobakin, the lone survivor, seeks refuge at the rival American base. Olga tells the Americans her base was attacked by a horrifying and nightmarish creature - the pattern was the same - people vanished, leaving nothing behind but shredded clothing and an unidentifiable waste product. The Americans are sceptical of her story at first, but then people begin to disappear.

I was underwhelmed with the way things played out

I was enjoying the story till chapter 42
Revisado: 12-26-24
A conversation was held in vacuum, which totally threw my absorption into the story out the window.
Otherwise, it really needs you to have listened to previous books in the series, otherwise, you will be confused.
Enjoying the story (still listening to it)

Historia
Outlink station Miranda has been destroyed by a nanomycelium, and the very nature of this sabotage suggests that the alien bioconstruct Dragon - a creature as untrustworthy as it is gigantic - is somehow involved. Sent out on a titanic Polity dreadnought, the Occam Razor, agent Cormac must investigate the disaster.

Great but hard to come up to speed
Revisado: 07-28-22
I found that the series so far has a good story line but all the tech terms made it hard coming up to speed.
Also, there are no or very little in the way of chapter breaks, making the storyline shifts, chapter to chapter, awkward. Sometimes I can be multiple sentences into a new chapter before I realise a new chapter has started.

Historia
Kyle Riggs has been away from Earth for a long time.... What’s happening back home? In Empire, the sixth book of the Star Force Series, the story moves in a new direction. Earth falls quiet, and the few reports coming out of the homeworld are increasingly strange. Isolated in the Eden system, Riggs realizes his enemies are forming an alliance against him. Crushed between two monstrous fleets, the last defenders of Star Force must forge their own alliance with the biotic aliens. But which alien race can Riggs truly trust?

Story is great, audio quality could be better
Revisado: 11-06-18
The story and voice are great but I find the audio quality distracting, you can hear where different recordings have been spliced together. It's as though there where two, maybe three voice recordings on different equipment in different studios that have been dubbed together.
Not a deal breaker, just something that grabbed my attention whilst humanity fights for survival.
